while接ED应该是表对比，接ING表持续性动作
加ing的。介词 如 【 in on to（be used to doing）】 介词后面加动词的ing形。
或者，spend time doing、there be sb. doing sth. 、 might be doing sth.、动词（或者一件事）当主语的，比如说，喝牛奶是好的对我们的健康来说，drinking milk is good for our healthy.、再者就是感官动词 +doing。【表示正怎么样】例如，see find notice等等。
还有，这些都是固定的。continue doing。dream of doing 。keep sb. doing。等等。
加ed的。
一般是动词的过去式才加。比如说，我昨天晚上吃面，i ate noodles yesterday。这个吃就用过去式。
还有就是，你写的句子表达的是过去的含义，那么句子中的动词用ed形。

做形容词时，ing一般是指物，ed一般是用来形容人的 但如果是tear smile expression 等次的话 则用ed 进行修饰
