nearly和almost的区别
almost强调“差一点……就”（=very nearly）,可用于no,none,nothing等前面,但nearly不可.almost不能用not修饰.
nearly表示“接近”.常可与almost换用,但在具体数字前常用nearly.not修饰nearly 意为“远非”,“远不及”.
He thought almost nothing worth to teach.他认为没什么可以教的.
如：She almost miss me before he saw me.她看到我之前差点错过我.
Almost no one(=Hardly anyone) saw her.几乎没有人看到她.

nearly 前可用 very,pretty,not 等词修饰,但 almost 之前不能用这些词.

注：not nearly 意为“远非”,very [pretty] nearly 意为“几乎”,都是习语.
有时 almost 可表示十分相似(但又不完全相同),此时不用 nearly.
