E-mail English 电子邮件英语 就是专指网上聊天，发邮件使用的英语，常用数字、字母、缩写、建成来代替某些词，例如 BTW =by the　 way　

Dear Ms. XXX,
It's really good for me to write to you, my teacher since it seems to me like a nice time for us to have a personal interaction.
First of all, I'd like to say that I have had a very happy time since i came here in Australia though sometimes i feel homesick. I have learned a lot here from my textbooks, my classmates and my teachers as well. Life here is not easy, of course, especially for a youngster who leaves his/her hometown for the first time, but life has also taught me a lot about how to arrange everything in order when alone free of help from his/her family, how to be strong when faced with difficulties, and how to be firm when fatigue and slackness strike. As the Chinese saying goes, this is only the first step of the long journey that have to be taken.But I am ready to meet any challenges that i will meet in future and i am confident to do better in every aspect.

Also, I'd like to ask you some questions that i have wanted to ask for a long time. Do you have times to feel lonely here in a foreign land? And how do you deal with the difficulties, if any? How do you spend your spare time usually? How often do you meet your family? ... Sorry for my blunder to ask such personal questions but would you please satisfy my curiosity if they are not too private for you.

Finally, I'd like to say "thank you, dear teacher", for your hard work and sincere help. And I believe with your and other teacers'continuous encouragement and support, I am sure to make greater progress in future.
