Anyone who walks into our dormitory will find that the right desk against the door is in sharp contrast with the other three by being in complete chaos.
Moldy shoes, shabby boxes and clusters of hair scatter around on the floor, along with a basin filled with dirty clothes piling up like a mound.
The computer lies on the middle of the desk. Numerous bottles, jars, and tubes of cosmetics: toner, lotion, cream, scrub, liquid foundation, facial cleanser, lipstick, etc., are put right to the computer in a disorderly way that could drive people with OCD crazy.
Leftovers and crisps occupy the left section of the table, leaving a film of grease and smudge around. All sorts of charging wires entangle with each other, as if a piece of post-modern art. Right above them, books and daily uses (towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, tissue, etc.) jam the shelves, placed arbitrarily. Single crumpled sheets stick out strenuously from every possible gap.
The bed upper is also in a snarl. Clothes such as pajamas, underwears, socks and T-shirts are strewn all over the rucked up quilt, with a thin layer of dust on them. While it is seen as a junk heap, I find the mess comforting and soothing.
