具体还可以这样鼓励：
1、学习一门语言最大的好处，就是能用感官直接感受到祖国以外的另一个国家的艺术、文化，民族性，这是只有懂得外语的人才有机会感受到的异国的魅力。
2、外语也是一门文化知识，教他懂得提高以后出国了或者遇到外国人了，常常讲到一句话，就用一用英语。
