subject用α还是an？
用a还是用an，不是看后面的单字是元音字母还是辅音字母开头，而是要看后面的单字开头的字母是发元音还是发辅音。
a用在辅音开头的字前，an用在以元音开头的字前。
在不发音的辅音字母h前，用an。如：
an honest girl 一个诚实的女孩
an heir 一个继承人
an hour 一个小时
an honor 一种荣誉
在读长音的元音字母u前要用a，如：
a useless tool 一件无用的工具
a university 一所大学
one、once中的元音字母o发/wʌ/的音，前面要用a。
a one-sided dicision 一个不公正的决定
eu和ew在字首时发音为/ju/，前面要用a。
a European country 一个欧洲国家
a ewe 一只母羊
