My favorite program is actually the nightly news. It might sound boring to some people, but it is the most interesting program to me. The news program run nightly and includes current affairs, political correspondents nationally and internationally.
I am able to keep up to date with what is happening around the world and am also able to listen to experts' opinions & judgements, which are insightful to me.
The news program also provides factual information which are unbiased. This is also another reason I enjoy watching it.
To sum it up, news program does not only enrich a person's knowledge, it is also quite entertaining as well!



Everyone has their own career ambitions. They all have their ideal jobs in their mind. I have my own as well, which is to be a doctor. Being a doctor would allow me to help people, allow them to live a happy life. I believe this is an important thing in the world and being able to help others makes me feel rewarded.

It is competitive to become a doctor. Each year, tens of thousands of students compete against each other for a spot in the medical school. This is why I need to study hard, so I can do well in the entrance examination.Also, I would be improving my social skills. A good doctor also need to have good communication skills and friendly.

With the right preparations, I believe I will achieve my goal.

My Classmate
Liu Dong is my classmate.He is from Shanghai.He is a boy.He is 15 years old.He is tall and thin.He has two big eyes and one small nose.He has two big ears.His mouth is big and has long black hair.Liu Dong studies hard hand do well in his lessons.Liu Dong is good at basketball too,I often play basketball with him after class.We get on very well.We usually help each other.

1.Many things have been done and great progress has been made in the greenization of our cities in recent years. Many trees have been planted and much care has been taken of the planted trees. But, in spite of all this, greenization in the cities in China is far from satisfactory compared with cities in other countries in the world. For example, the green space for every people in Shanghai is only 2 square meters while that of the people in London exceeds 20 square meters.最近几年,在绿化我们的城市方面许多事情都已经完成，并取得了很大进展的,许多树木已种植和许多树木已经妥善照顾。但是，即使如此，在城市绿化中和世界其他国家的城市比,中国还远远不能令人。例如，在上海每人拥有2平方的绿色空间而在伦敦每人超过20平方米。
2We can benefit much from the greenization of our cities. First, trees absorb carbon dioxide which is harmful, but produce oxygen which is essential to human beings. Secondly, with trees all around, our cities will look more beautiful. Thirdly, trees can improve the climate of the cities, making it neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter.

3 Since we can get so much benefit from making our cities greener, we should spare no effort to do so. We should plant even more trees and take even better care of them while they are growing. Besides, we should not cut down trees any more. In a word, we should do everything to add to the greenization of our cities.
既然我们可以从城市绿化中得到这么多好处，我们就应该不遗余力地这样做。我们应该更加树木植物，并 更好地照顾他们。此外，我们不应该砍树了。总之，我们应该尽一切努力增加绿化我们的城市。

Nowadays, people living in the city often find the environment not agreeable. There has little green land between the urban areas. We can’t see the more grass, flowers and trees except in the parks. And we can feel the color of the city is gray.

People are crying for more green in the city and it is really advantageous to have more grass, flowers and trees in the urban area. First, green plants can reduce the pollution. It is a difficult problem in the city. People couldn’t figure out the effective measures to cope with the situation. If having more green, the environment in the city will become more comfortable. Second, more grass, flowers and trees can make our city beautiful. Green plants can bring us a refreshed feeling.

Therefore, in city planning people should think more about grass, flowers and trees. We can call on more citizens to join the activity and provide more lands for green plants. I believe if we do like that, our city will become more beautiful.

from the test perspective, CET4 has got a great success, promote the implementation of the outline, and renowned throughout the country, welcomed by students.从测试角度讲,四级考试的确取得了巨大成功,有力促进了大纲的实施,并使之蜚声全国,深受大学生的欢迎. However, CET4 had a tremendous negative impact for College English teaching , it cann't fully reflect the true English language ability of students.然而,四级考试也对大学英语教学产生了巨大的负面影响,并不能全面反映学生真实的英语能力.
