不是省略结构。find不能加to do的。
类似find sb/sth done的动词短语有很多，这里的done是宾语补足语。可以有to do, doing, done几种非谓语动词的形式来充当，至于究竟要用其中哪个形式，各个动词是不一样的。其中的区别我用get来举个例：
get sb/sth to do 让某人做某事，sb和do之间是主动关系。
