“我要用树枝盖一间屋子，”第二只小猪说。“这工作很容易。盖好后，我就可以跟哥哥去玩耍。”第二只小猪很快就把他的屋子盖好，便到外头去玩耍了。
“我的屋子要用砖头来盖。这要花上很长的时间，”第三只小猪说。他便盖起屋子，这工作不轻松，不过屋子却挺牢固的。
　有一天，三只小猪看到几个脚印，这是大野狼的脚印。三只小猪赶紧跑回各自的家里。他们很怕大野狼，因为他会吃小猪。
大野狼走到第一只小猪的家门口。这间屋子是干草盖的。”小猪，小猪，让我进来！”大野狼说。”
“不行！我不会让你进来，”小猪说道。

　　“你若不让我进来，我就要把你的屋子吹倒！”大野狼说。于是他猛力一吹屋子就倒了，第一只小猪便连忙逃走。他跑到第二只小猪的家里。
　第二只小猪的屋子是树枝盖的。第一只小猪和第二只小猪都待在屋内，他们都很害怕。“你们如果不让我进来，我就要把你们的屋子吹倒！”大野狼说。于是他就把第二只小猪的家吹倒了。这间树枝造的房子很容易就被吹倒。两只小猪便跑到第三只小猪的家里去。　大野狼来到第三只小猪的家门口。这间屋子很坚固，它是用砖盖的。”小猪，小猪，让我进来！”大野狼说。”不行！我们不会让你进来，”三只小猪说。“你们若不让我进来，我就把你们的屋子吹倒！”大野狼说。他大野狼很生气。"我要把你们全部抓起来，”大野狼说。他爬上屋顶，再从烟囱爬下来。第三只小猪生起火来。

大野狼肚子饿了，想要把这三只小猪全都吃掉。他吹了又吹，可是这间屋子就是吹不倒.“哎哟！”大野狼大叫一声。火烧到大野狼，他便逃走了。三只小猪再也没看到他了。
第二天，第三只小猪就来帮他两个哥哥。他帮他们盖屋子，他们盖的是砖房。这很花时间，但谁也无法吹倒他们的屋子了。大野狼跑掉了。他再也不吃小猪了。吃小猪太危险了.
