汉语的重要性英语作文
Chinese is spoken most all over the world,such as China,Indonesia，Malaysia，Vietnam and the Philippines.
Chinese Language faces some challenges. As compared with English and other Latin based languages, Chinese is less popular and more difficuh for computer word processing. Some college students, wondering whether it is still one of the best languages in the world, neglect Chinese study.
Extensive research has revealed that Chinese possesses many advantages over other languages. Written Chinese is based on a set of ideogram characters. From a simple word one may obtain a wealth of information about its hidden meaning, evolution history and related phrases. Historians can decipher the damaged ancient characters carved on ox hones but no such achievement could be obtained with Latin-based languages. To express a given idea, the Chinese version is always the shortest, most accurate and most effective.
Moreover, Chinese kids learn Chinese by memorizing patterns or funny pictures which stimulate curiosity and imagination. It is well recognized that human brains work well with patterns and pattern recognition in turn promotes brain development. What's more, Chinese is also easy to learn. Many foreigners speak Chinese fluently after a few years of learning. Recently, several word processing programs have been successfully developed for Chinese language and turned out to be better than those designed for English.
Chinese is the crystallization of the splendid culture developed continuously for over 5,000 years. Many treasures remain to be explored. As China grows stronger, more and more foreigners will learn Chinese and share the invaluable treasure.
学习英语的重要性
①英语是当今世界上主要的国际通用语言这一，也是世界上最广泛使用的语言。据1986年的统计，
世界上以英语为母语的人近4亿，差不多每十个人中就有一个人讲英语。英国、美国、加拿大、澳
大利亚、新西兰等国家的人都讲英语。世界上约有20国家把英语作为官方语言或第二语言使用，共
计约有8亿人。也就是说，世界上差不多每五个人中有一个人至少在一定程度上懂英语。若加了世
界各国中小学生学习英语的人数，懂英语的人就更多了。
②英语的使用范围非常广泛。世界上70%以上的邮件是用英文写或用英文写地址的。全世界的广播
节目中，有60%是用英语进行的。国际上的资料绝大部分是用英语发表的。绝大部分的国际会议是
以英语为第一通用语言,它也是联合国的正式工作语言之一。总之，在国际政治、军事、经济、科
技、文化、贸易、交通运输等领域，英语是一个重要的交际工具。
随着我国对外开放的不断扩大化,科学技术的不断进步,国际地位的不断提高,迫切需要造就一大批
精通外语的专门人才,以加速我国“四化”进程，使我国在国际事务中发挥更大更积极的作用。因此，
学好英语对实现上述目标具有重要大的现实意义和深远的历史意义。
我们需要学习别人的先进技术
中国在近几十年的确发生了翻天覆地的变化，各方面都发展得很快。但是，不容置疑的是，我们在很多技术方面仍然落后于西方先进国家。要发展，要进步，要在较短的时间内掌握各种技术，我们不可能单靠自己搞研究，必须学习别人先进的技术。而学习的必要前提便是要掌握世界通用技术交流语言，我们的工具－英语。就计算机程序开发为例：虽然目前的计算机操作系统已经有中文版，但要进行应用程序开发，程序还是用英语编写的。高新技术资料大部分都是以英语编写。印度虽然在很多方面的发展比不上中国，但印度的软件开发业却比中国发达很多。造成这种差距，其中一个重要原因就是印度程序员普遍英语应用水平比中国程序员高。
与世界各国合作需要英语
我们在学习别人先进技术，经验的同时，也需要与世界各国展开各种技术上和经济上的合作。如果不懂英语，便无法与合作方沟通交流，也更谈不上合作了。譬如某公司开发了一个具有世界水平的产品，如果能打开国际市场，前途将是一片光明。但偏偏公司人员不懂英语，无法很好地与国外客户沟通，无法将产品的优良性能展示出来，这将是一个惨重的损失。
如何学好英语
了解了学习英语的重要性，那么我们到底要如何才能学好英文呢？
根据实际应用需要学习
既然我们先前讨论过英语实际上只是一门工具而已，那么，在学习之前，我们首先要清楚了解自己学习英语的目的。是文学创作，还是某项实际工作需要？相信大部分人都是因为工作需要而学习英语，那么英语只是一个让我们可以与西方国家交流，学习西方先进技术的工具。以往中国的英语教育以阅读大量文学作品为主，但实际上这种做法对与英语初学者来说弊大于利。例如一个 空中 小姐，她所需要掌握的只是口头上询问客人需要什么，或者报告当地天气等简单信息。阅读文学作品可以说对她的工作毫无帮助。我们学习英语之前应该反复强调把英语作为一门工具，并且要清楚知道我们究竟需要用这门工具来干什么。根据具体的需要来决定学习的内容和方法。如果您的职业是 空中 小姐，那么很明显，您并不需要看懂莎士比亚的著作。
英即是中，中即是英
有很多人在学习英语的时候总有一个心里暗示，英语是外语，学外语肯定不能跟母语相比。但其实这种想法是不对的。无论中文也好，英文也好，都只是一种语言，只是人之间沟通交流的工具，只要你能很好的说中文，就没有理由说不好英文。之所以很多人觉得英文难学好，只是一个时间和环境的问题。想想我们从出生以来，无论是学习，工作，玩耍，吃饭甚至睡觉做梦，我们无时无刻不在使用中文。而我们使用英文的时间，相对来说实在是少得可怜。如果我们像学习，使用中文那样学习使用英文，我相信任何一个有正常语言能力的人都能很好的掌握英文。
也有的人说，儿童时期是学习语言的最佳时机，过了就很难学习新的语言。这种说法固然有一定道理，但并不是必然的。很多几十岁的老年人移民海外后短短几年就能用英语与人流利的交流，这是因为他们衣食住行都必须使用英语。而有些移民一辈子留在唐人街，一辈子只和华人打交道，即使在国外居住十几年，也不见得能说上几句英文。这说明关键还在于长期的应用。
注重培养良好的语感
一直以来，中国的英语教育体制都十分强调语法的学习。结果语法学得很精，但确说不上几句流利的英语。因为说话的时候，脑子里翻来覆去的用各种语法规则来套，看看究竟要怎么说才对。试问这样又怎么能说流利的英语呢？国内这种强调学习语法的做法，使很多人误以为有了语法才有语言，殊不知事实上是有了语言，时间久了，各种用法相对固定了，人们才把这些规则归纳成语法。事实上使用英语的国家大部分人是不懂语法的，但他们还是能很好的使用英语与别人交流。人有着自然的语言能力，这是一种感觉，而不是条条框框规定出来的。这种感觉是通过长时间的应用产生的。只有有了这种感觉，你才能流利用英语表达出你的思想，而不需要再费时间去考虑任何语法问题。
写作思路：通过汉语的特点，写出汉语的独到之处，表达出自己认为汉语重要的观点。

It is precisely because of the existence of Chinese that the Chinese nation has a strong cohesion, so that the Chinese nation can unite as one, go through the darkest period, and establish a new China.
正是因为汉语的存在，才使得华夏民族拥有强大的凝聚，才能让中华民族团结一心，度过了那段最黑暗的时期，建立起新中国。

In recent years, learning Chinese has aroused a great attention all over the world.And a new upsurge in learning Chinese is in the making in many foreign countries. As far as I am concerned, as a Chinese, learning Chinese is particularly important.
近年来，学习汉语已经引起了全世界的关注。汉语学习的新高潮正在国外许多国家中兴起。我觉得作为一个中国人，学习汉语是特别重要的。
There are several points accounting for my view. First, Chinese is a great treasure of our nation and learning Chinese well is a basic obligation of every citizen. Second, Chinese has become more and more popular and frequently-used all over the world with the fast development of world. Therefore, a person whose mother language is Chinese has no reason to refuse to learn Chinese. In addition, learning Chinese well is a basic of learning other languages. A large number of people put their all emphasis on learning other languages but cannot get a satisfied result because they neglecting Chinese learning. Therefore, when we are learning another language, we should keep learning Chinese as well.
原因有几点。第一，中国是中华民族的瑰宝，学好汉语是每个公民的基本义务。第二，随着世界的快速发展，汉语已经越来越受欢迎而且使用越来越频繁。因此，一个母语是汉语的人没有理由拒绝学习中文。此外，学好汉语学习其它语言的基础。很多人把他们的注意力放在学习其他语言上却并没得到满意的结果是因为他们忽视了汉语的学习。所以，当我们在学习另一种语言时，我们应该坚持学习汉语。
