Life, thin and light-off time and time again
Frivolous tireless
one

I heard the echo, from the valleys and the heart
Open to the lonely soul of sickle harvesting
Repeat outrightly, but also repeat the well-being of
Eventually swaying in the desert oasis

I believe I am
Born as the bright summer flowers

  Crossing the Bar
  By Alfred Tennyson
  And one clear call for me!
  And may there be no moaning of the bar,
  When I put out to sea,
  But such a tide as moving seems asleep,

  Too full for sound and foam,
  When That which drew form out the boundless deep
  Turns again home.
  Twilight and evening bell,
  And after that the dark!
  And may there be no sadness of farewell,
  When I embark;
  For though from out our bourne of Time and Place
  The flood may bear me far,
  I hope to see my Pilot face to face
  When I have crost the bar.
  我将出海远航;
  涛声似止,浪花息;
  登舟起锚;
  滔滔载我至远方;

  Oh, Captain! My Captain!
  By Walt Whitman
  Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
  The ship has weather'd every rack, the prize we sought is worn,
  The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
  While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
  But O heart! heart! heart!
  O the bleeding drops of red!
  Where on the deck my Captain lies,
  Fallen cold and dead.
  O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
  Rise up--for you the flag is flung--for you the bugle trills,
  For you bouquets and ribbon'd wreaths--for you the shores crowding,
  For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
  Here, Captain! dear father!
  This arm beneath your head;
  It is some dream that on the deck
  You've fallen cold and dead.
  My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still,
  My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse or will;
  The ship is anchor'd safe and sound, its voyage closed and done;
  From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;
  Exult, O Shores! and ring, O bell!
  But I, with mournful tread,
  Walk the deck my Captain lies,
  Fallen cold and dead.
  啊, 船长!我的船长!可怕的航程已完成;
  啊, 船长!我的船长!起来吧,倾听钟声;
  起来吧,号角为您长鸣,旌旗为您高悬;
  迎着您,多少花束花圈----候着您,千万人蜂拥岸边;
  他们向您高呼,拥来挤去,仰起殷切的脸;
  我的船长不作声,嘴唇惨白,毫不动弹;
  我的父亲没感到我的手臂,没有脉搏,没有遗言;
  船舶抛锚停下,平安抵达;航程终了;

  To the Cuckoo
  By William Wordsworth
  O blithe new-comer! I have heard,
  I hear thee and rejoice.
  O Cuckoo! shall I call thee Bird,
  Or but a wandering Voice?
  While I am lying on the grass
  Thy twofold shout I hear;
  From hill to hill it seems to pass
  At once far off, and near.
  Though babbling only to the Vale,
  Of sunshine and of flowers,
  Thou bringest unto me a tale
  Of visionary hours.
  Thrice welcome, darling of the Spring!
  Even ye thou art to me
  No bird, but an invisible thing,
  A voice a mystery;
  The same whom in my schoolboy days
  I listened to; that Cry
  Which made me look a thousand ways
  In bush, and tree, and sky.
  To seek thee did I often rove
  Through woods and on the green;
  And thou wert still a hope, a love;
  Still longed for, never seen.
  And I can listen to thee yet;
  Can lie upon the plain
  And listen, till I do beget
  That golden time again.
  O blessed Bird! the earth we pace
  Again appears to be
  An unsubstantial, faery place;
  That is fit home for thee!
  听到你啭鸣,我满怀喜悦;
  伴着繁华和阳光;
  曾倾听同样的鸣声;
  踩着草地,穿过密林;
  又显得空灵而神奇;

  Spring
  By Thomas Nashe
  Spring, the sweet spring, is the year's pleasant king;
  Then blooms each thing, then maids dance in a ring,
  Cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do sing,
  Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
  The palm and may make country houses gay,
  Lambs frisk and play, the shepherds pipe all day,
  And we hear aye birds tune this merry lay,
  Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
  The fields breathe sweet, the daisies kiss our feet,
  Young lovers meet, old wives a sunning sit,
  In every street these tunes our ears do greet,
  Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
  Spring! the sweet Spring!

HAMLET
To be, or not to be: that is the question.
Whether it's nobler in the mind to suffer
the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
and by opposing end them. To die,to sleep;
No more; And by a sleep to say we end
the heartache, and the thousand natural shocks
that flesh is heir to, it's a consummation
devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep.
To sleep, perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub
for in that sleep of death what dreams may come
when we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
must give us pause.
There's the respect that makes calamity of so long life
for who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
the oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
the pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
the insolence of office, and the spurns
that patient merit of the unworthy takes,
when he himself might his quietus make
with a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear
to grunt and sweat under a weary life,
but that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered country from whose bourn.
No traveller returns, puzzles the will,
and makes us rather bear those ills we have
than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
and thus the native hue of resolution
is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
and enterprises of great picth and moment
with this regard their currents turn awry
and lose the name of action.

Catch the Star that will Take You to Your Dream

Catch the star that holds your destiny['destini], the one that forever twinkles['twiŋkl] within your heart. Take advantage of precious opportunities while they still sparkle['spɑ:kl] before you. Take pride in your accomplishments [ə'kʌmpliʃmənt], as they are stepping stones to your dreams. Understand that you may make mistakes, but don't let them discourage you. Value your capabilities [,keipə'biləti] and talents for they are what make you truly unique. The greatest gifts in life are not purchased, but acquired [ə'kwaiəd] through hard work and determination. Youth
Samuel Ullman
  Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep spring of life. Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideas. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust. Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being’s heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing childlike appetite for what’s next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, so long are you young. When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you‘ve grown old, even at 20. But as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at 80.
