learning English takes lots of time and we should also have good ways. We should listen to the teacher and take notes carefully in class. Try to speak in English as much as possible. After class we'd better go over what is learnt first and then finish doing our homework carefully. Then prepare for the new lessons. When we have time, we'd better read English, watch English programs, try to write diary in English. Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Correct the mistakes at once and try not to make the same mistakes. I am sure if we work hard, We'll learn English well.

home是副词，前面不需加介词to.
按照类型，句子基本上可以分为简单句、并列句和复合句。
所谓简单句，就是由一个分句构成的句子，一个主语加一个谓语构成了它的基本形式。
并列句是用and, but, however, or, so, then, besides等连词将两个或两个以上的分句并列而成的句子；复合句由两个或两个以上的分句构成，分句有主从之分。
以此句为例：On his way home he met a friend.（简单句）
On his way home he met a friend and they had a talk.
"On his way home he met a friend"和"they had a talk"都是一个分句，由and连接，整个句子是并列句。
On his way home he met a friend whom he hadn't seen for a long time.
"whom he hadn't seen for a long time"是friend的定语从句，整个句子是复合句。
When he went home,he met a friend.(改为简单句）
