用英语问五个关于世界历史的问题
美国独立时期说的英语基本上是借用同时期英国的英语，发音没有现在那样多的儿化音。如year 读作 耶额，而现在的美式发音读作 耶额儿。
英语也和其他语言一样也有古文，分为 古英语，中古英语和中世纪英语等阶段。其实那个时期的英语准确的说法是盎格鲁-萨克逊语，但总体上，古英语与现在的德语的亲缘关系更近些。
如果不了解英语的历史，牛顿的书估计不太好懂。包括语法，拼写等方面都有一些困难。
