How To Be Successful
As a famous saying goes,there's no such thing as a free lunch.There's no one but longs to succeed,but it's not easy to get success .
Iniatially,you should have an active attitude.Even we can say,everything depends on attitude.If we have a right attitude,we will get half of success at the beginning.So,we cannot emphasize attitude too much.
What's more,practice is another important aspect to success.Easier said than done,so we must put into practice in the course of learning.
Last but by no means the last,a firm resolution plays an essencial role in getting success.All resistance will be conquered by a firm resolution.Man,once his goal is set,should not shift himself from his resolution of struggling for it.
As far as I'm concerned,success always belongs to those who are ready to get it.

I would like to declare at first, some personnel names and place names maybe were spelled wrong, because I transliterated them from Chinese. Let’s begin with a classical fable which expatiates on happiness and compares to life.寓言：天使的百合 波斯国王哈里发厌倦了王权所赋予他的一切奢华与享受，于是向天堂的管理者祈祷能让他成为一名不为人知的普通市民，找回做个简单之人的快乐和舒适。就在当晚，在波扎的一个贫穷的村落，一个乞丐也向天堂的管理者祈求得到哈里发的舒适和享受。于是天堂的管理者唤来两位美丽的天使，在巴格达哈里发的宫殿和波扎乞丐的茅舍中间种下了一株来自天堂的百合，并召唤他们在天使种下的百合处相遇。就在“天使的百合”处，这两个人相遇了，他们找到了各自的幸福，不再为原先的欲望而苦恼，过上了一种宁静、安定和纯美的生活。 Fable: Angels’ lily Harappa, the king of Persia, was sick of all his luxury and enjoyment which the kingship endowed him, and prayed to God to become an unknown ordinary citizen in order to get back to pleasure and comfort. At the right night, in a poor village of Boca, a beggar prayed to God to get comfort and enjoyment which Harappa had. The God called two beautiful angels to plant a lily that come from heaven between Harappa’s palace in Baghdad and the beggar’s hut in Boca, and let Harappa meet the beggar at the lily. Just at the angels’ lily, the two people met each other, found their own happiness, was not sick of the original desire any more, and had a peaceful, stable and pure life.1、财富与幸福感西方发达国家很早开始幸福感研究，现代意义上的幸福感研究以WannerWilson(1967) 撰写的《自称幸福的相关因素》为标志。中国人于2006年才开始把GDP与“幸福指数”结合起来，强调主观幸福感，将幸福感纳入社会发展的考核指标体系中。“幸福度”出现在政府的一些报告中。研究表明，不是收入越高越幸福。总体上说国民经济总产值与幸福感正相关，人均收入越多，人们越幸福。但是，当人均总产值超过8000美元的时候，幸福感受与经济的相关就不明显存在了。根据著名心理学家赛利格曼的观点，财富只是缺少时才对幸福有较大影响，可当财富增加到一定水平后，财富与幸福的相关就小多了。即便是在福布斯排行榜中前100名，身价在1.25亿的富翁，也只是比中等收入的人稍微幸福一点而已。根据北京的调查，家庭收入4000元以下时，幸福感随着收入增加而增长，4000元至7000元收入的家庭幸福感最高且较为稳定，但收入超过7000元时，收入与幸福感的关系变得复杂，当家庭收入超过15000元，并处于15000元到30000元时，幸福感急剧下降，与1500元的家庭一样。1. Wealth and the feeling of happinessWestern developed countries started to research the feeling of happiness very early, the symbol of happiness feeling research in modern sense is “relational factors of self-styled happiness” which was written by Wanner Wilson in 1967. Chinese didn’t integrate GDP with “happiness exponent” until 2006, the subjective happiness feeling are emphasized and are brought into the check system of society development. The word of “degree of happiness” appears in some government reports.The research shows it is not always the case that more wealth more happiness. As a whole, GDP is positive interrelated with the feeling of happiness, more wealth more happiness. But when per capita GDP is over 8000US$, the correlation between happiness feeling and economy is not so obvious. According to Seligman, a famous psychologist, only when there is a lack of wealth, it has superior effect to happiness, the correlation between wealth and happiness becomes much lesser when wealth reaches some level. Even those top 100 in Fox wealth list, the moneybags who own 125 million US$ feel a little happier than those middle-income people.The survey in Beijing indicates: When family income is under 4000RMB, more income more happiness feeling; For families whose income are between 4000 and 7000RMB, their happiness feeling are highest and more stable; But the correlation between income and happiness feeling become complicated when their income are over 7000RMB; Furthermore, when family income are over 15000RMB, and come into the level from 15000 to 30000RMB, their happiness feeling plummet to the same level as families whose income is only 1500RMB.2 幸福才是真成功一个发人深省的故事：一位哈佛大学毕业的经济学博士来到墨西哥海岸度假。遇上一位渔民拎着几条大鱼从一条小渔船上下来，看到这位博士，渔民便热情地邀请他到家中做客。用鲜美的鱼来招待他，博士非常感动，就和渔民拉起了家常。他关切地询问起渔民平常的日子是怎么过的，渔民说，他的生活很简单，每天的任务就是去海边捕几条足够全家享用的鱼，然后带回家交给妻子，其余时间就是和家人在一起，或和几个朋友聚在一起喝点小酒打打小牌什么的。博士觉得这种生活很单调也很辛苦，他决定利用自己在所学的经济学知识帮助这位渔民。让他出人头地，过上更加精彩富足的生活。渔民听了之后，当然很高兴，就问博士有什么好办法帮助他。博士说，“如果我是你，我还可以每天多打一些鱼，除了自己吃的，还可以拿出去卖。钱攒多了，再去买一条船，那时你就能捕更多的鱼挣到更多的钱了。”渔民问：“挣那么钱之后呢？”“等到钱挣得足够多了，你还可以组织一个船队去搞远洋捕捞捕鱼，去银行贷款，增加设备，扩大经营规模，自己成立一个鱼罐头加工厂，然后成立一家国际大企业，当上了大老板，到那时，你就要什么有什么了。甚至也可以来哈佛读书”“再往后等你老了，就把企业交给别人管，你就轻松了”博士越说越兴奋。“那时我还能干什么？”“你可以时不时地来海边休假，邀上几个朋友，坐在这凉爽的墨西哥海边，烹上一条鲜鱼，喝点美酒，想做什么就做点什么，那时的你该是多么幸福啊！” “可是，我现在不已经是这样了么？” 渔民问。博士哑然了。-----是啊，他还能说什么呢？原以为达到了理想的巅峰，可绕了半天却发现，自己只是回到了起点。欧文告诉我们，人类一切努力的目的在于获得幸福。这个故事告诉我们，“幸福”才是最大的“成功”。……2．Only happiness is real successA thought-provoking story:An economic doctor, graduated from Harvard University, came to the Mexico seashore for vacation. He met a fisherman who went ashore with a few big fishes. Seeing this doctor, the fisherman invited him fervidly to visit his home and feted him delicious fish. The doctor was affected and chatted with the fisherman.He showed his concerned at how the fisherman’s daily life was. The fisherman told him, his life was so simple that he only was required to catch enough fishes for his whole families every day and brought home to his wife, and he spent the rest of time with his families, or drank and played cards with his friends.The doctor thought this kind of life was not only boring but also hard, he decided to help the fisherman with the economic knowledge he learnt and made him stood out with more wonderful and abundant life. The fisherman was so glad to ask the doctor if he had any good idea.The doctor said, “If I were you, I would catch more fishes, so that I could sell some except what I needed. This fable spread over the world all the time, and became a classical philosophy fable which expatiate happiness and compare to life. It warns those, who want to succeed in career and have a happy life, must stop at the “angel’s lily”. Whatever you want to do, you shouldn’t be overreach and beyond the limit, don’t overstep “angel’s lily”, because angels always plant the most splendid and purest lily between cupidity and waste, between self-consequence and abandonment, between sloth and overwork, between soberness and spoor, between poverty and richness, between recreance and obtrusion, between hate and adoration, between folly an madness, between giant and manikin……Napoleon said: I have less than 1 hour happy time in my whole life.It’s not difficult for us to achieve more success than Napoleon because we know “happiness is real sucess”.Let’s meet at the “angel’s lily”, and wish all our friends stop at “angel’s lily”!
如何实现成功(How to make Success)：Some people say the key to success is the luck, while others claim it is hard work. As far as I am concerned, there are many factors contributing to success and the three fundamental ones are diligence, devotion and perseverance.
Diligence is the first key factor to success. Diligence helps us remove ignorance, overcome difficulties, and enlighten our minds. It makes a fool wise, and a poor man rich. Devotion is another factor to success. Whatever we do, we must love it and do it whole-heartedly. Only when we set our minds on the job, can we do it well. Furthermore, perseverance, or a strong will, is the last key to success. Without a strong will, we are likely to give up when we meet some difficulties, let alone perform wonderful deeds.
To conclude, all great men achieve success through diligence, devotion and perseverance. Just as the famous saying goes, "No pains, no gains", "Where there is a will, there is a way."
有人说，成功的关键是运气，而另一些人是艰苦的工作。至于我担心，有许多因素促成的成功和三个基本的是勤奋，奉献精神和毅力。
勤奋是第一个关键因素取得成功。勤奋可以帮助我们消除愚昧，克服困难，启发我们的脑海中。它使一个傻瓜明智的，一个贫穷的人致富。投入的另一个因素是成功的。不管我们做什么，我们必须热爱它，并做到全心全意。只有当我们确定我们的脑海中的工作，我们可以做的很好。此外，毅力，或坚强的意志，是最后取得成功的关键。如果没有一个坚强的意志，我们很可能会放弃当我们满足了一些困难，更不用说执行精彩事迹。
最后，所有的伟人取得圆满成功勤奋，奉献精神和毅力。正如一句名言所说， “没有痛苦，没有收益” ， “凡有意愿，有办法。 ”
如何实现成功(How to make Success
Different people have different views on success. Some hold that making a great deal of money means success. Others argue that holding an important post in the government means success. Still others believe that having a high academic title at a famous university or a research institute means success.
In my opinion, success means brilliant achievement in our work. In other words, no matter what we do, making outstanding contributions to the development of our country and bringing help and happiness to others is success.
To achieve success, we should, first of all, have a clear long-term goal in our life. Besides, we should have short term goals in different periods of life. As we know, it is these short term goals that make our long-term goal possible. Second, we should be both perseverant and hardworking. Whatever we do, there are always two possibilities: success and failure. We should never lose heart when we come across difficulties or when we are confronted with failure. Instead, we should learn from our experience, build up our confidence and work even harder and smarter towards our purpose. Third, we should follow the examples of those who are successful and learn from them. Finally, we should try to get along well with our classmates and colleagues. We should care for each other and help each other in our study, our work and our life, because team work is of great importance in the realization of our dream.
If we can follow these principles, we will certainly achieve remarkable success in our life.
不同的人有不同的意见，取得圆满成功。有些人，使大量的资金本身就意味着成功。其他人则认为举行一次重要职务的政府本身就意味着成功。还有一些人认为，具有很高的学术图书在著名的大学或研究机构本身就意味着成功。
在我看来，成功意味着辉煌的成就我们的工作。换句话说，不管我们做什么，做出了突出贡献，为我们国家的发展带来帮助和他人的幸福是成功的。
为了取得成功，我们应当首先，有一个明确的长远目标在我们的生活。此外，我们应该有短期目标在不同时期的生活。我们知道，正是这些短期的目标，使我们的长期目标可能的。第二，我们既要perseverant和勤劳。无论我们做什么，总是有两种可能性：成功与失败。我们永远不应该灰心，当我们遇到困难，或当我们面对失败。相反，我们应该借鉴我们的经验，建立起我们的信心更加勤奋工作，聪明和对我们的目的。第三，我们应该遵循这些例子，谁是成功的，并从中学习。最后，我们应该努力相处的同学和同事。我们应该照顾彼此互相帮助，在我们的研究中，我们的工作和生活，因为团队工作是非常重要的实现我们的梦想。

There is no dobut that everybody wants to achieve success.
To accomplish your goal, the most important thing is outstanding willpower rather than the method. Liyang kept practising his oral english and spoke out loudly 1 hour every day in the ninth floor of his working site to improve his english profiency. Mr.Zhongdaolong insisted on dictation along with the tape on 20 pieces of A4 paper everyday to pursuing success. Moreever, those giants who made miracles in career are having much more determination and willpower than that of common guys. To make his dream of“ The Happiest Place on Earth@ Come true, Volt Disney was refused more than 302 times during his financing from the bank but finally he made it. The founder of KFC started his business when he was at his 65. He got peopples comment of ”YES" after he was rejected by 1009 times. There are too many examples proved that willpowers and persistence are much more important than the method.
Therefore, in my unstanding, If you want to make some success in specific filed, you have to firstly cultiviate kind of spirit of willpower. This is the first stop to approch success and also the only way lead to success.
