I am very privileged to be given this platform by the professor and really happy to introduce myself. My name is XX, 19 years old, from XXX, which is a very beautiful place!
I am very happy coming to XXX and able to study with you all for the next 4 years. We are all from every corner of the country, which is a kind of fate. I like reading, playing computer and also love the subject of maths. But unfortunately, we don't have this subject here.
My ideal is to be a director and one day be able to make my own movies. Therefore I have chosen this major and I have every confidence that I shall do very well.
I believe that all of you have chosen the same subject must share the same love with me. Hope we shall learn from each other in the coming 4 years. Help each other so that we all could hand in satisfactory results for our tomorrow .

我现在是**大学生命环境科学研究科硕士一年级的学生，专攻微生物工学。
Now I am a student in graduate school of Life and Enviromental Science of XX university,major in bioengineering.

通过研究，我发现了一种新型蛋白质活性化机理，命名为self-subunit swapping.今后，我希望运用学过的微生物学知识，从独特的视角出发，研制一种速效，无副作用，不宜产生抗药性的新型传染病特效药，造福社会。
I discovered a novle protein possttranslational activation mechanism through the research and named it "self-subunit swapping".I hope I can use my microbiology knowledge and unique idea to develop a new type of specific remedy for infectious disease whcih is efficient,non-side effect and not easily gets drug resistance,to benefit the society.
