安利柯是《爱的教育》的主人公，但不是作者。亚米契斯（Edmondo De Amicis，1846-1908）艾德蒙多·德·亚米契斯，意大利作家，民族复兴运动时期的爱国志士，曾参加解放意大利的战斗。退役后担任军事刊物的记者，发表特写、报道、短篇小说，后汇集为《军营生活》出版。他周游世界各国，撰写了许多游记，以明快、新颖的笔触，记叙各国的风土人情，同时贯串了向意大利人民进行爱国主义教育的宗旨。
亚米契斯，1846年出生于意大利。那时的意大利受法国大革命的影响，国内正酝酿着爱国主义，这股风潮自然也在他幼小的心灵上留下不可磨灭的印记。二十岁时他从军校毕业，加入军队，开始写一些具有爱国风味的短篇故事，并出版了他的第一本书《意大利军旅生活》。1888年，四十二岁的亚米契斯写出了他最畅销的书《爱的教育》。今天《爱的教育》在各国均有译本，被誉为世界少年最优良的读物之一.亚米契斯，1846年出生于意大利。那时的意大利受法国大革命的影响，国内正酝酿着爱国主义，这股风潮自然也在他幼小的心灵上留下不可磨灭的印记。
