主语从句的特点有二：
1. 谓语动词前有一个由连接词（that、wh- 式或whether/if）引导的完整的句子。如：

2. 可以用先行主语 it代替主语的位置，把主语从句放在句子后面，如上面两句可以改写如下：
第一句：(It) surprised us all (that he finished writing the composition in such a short time).
第二句：(It) hasn't been decided yet (who will be our monitor).

从句只作句子的一个成分-------主语、宾语、同位语、表语（跟在be之后） 。
亲：定语从句前面必须有一个名词（先行词），而主语从句则没有。
