The winter vacation I had dreamed all year around was finally coming.And I really enjoyed a lot from it.
The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study.I assigned my homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in time.I also arranged myself the books and words I need to read and recite.
Secondly,I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original reading.My favorite book is ,written by Sherlock Holmes.Among all the classical movies,the Sound of Music was the most exciting one.During my holidays I also made some assistance for my physical class teacher,surely I met lots of difficulties in this stage and from which I knew what perseverance really was.
Lastly,I went to the temple fair and was lucky to taste several Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them.It is said it originated from Hangzhou centuries ago,made by a famous beggar Hong Qi Gong,the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up,it is famous for its special aroma and taste.
Now that the holiday is ending and a new semester is coming,I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming challenges.

The winter holiday is over,but I have many things to talk about.Spring Festival is one of the significant Chinese Festival,the purpose of our winter holiday is spending special time with family in this festivel in a way (放寒假在某种程度上也是为了在春节的时候与家人一起度过特别的时光).As we all know,China is a old country with more than sereval thousands history.There are many folk customs(民间习俗) at the Spring Festival,like sticking couples(贴春联),seting off fireworks(放烟花),eating with all family members on a big dining table(和全家人一起在大桌上吃饭)and so on.What makes us chiIdern most happy is that elders always give us "red packet",which is called "ya sui qian"in China.l like Spring Festival not only those days I can eat many kinds of food but also I can spend much happy time with family every Spring Festival,the same as this year.(也是因为我每年春节都能和家人一起度过很多幸福时光,像今年一样).In a word(总之) ,My winter holiday is wonderful and I enjoy it very much!

One day I was taking a bus to the park. There were so many people on the bus that some people had to stand. Suddenly an old man got on the bus. The driver said to the passengers,"Please give the old man a seat." But nobody gave his seat to him. I was angry at this. In our society respecting the old and cherishing the young is a traditional virtue. I'd like to say "Please offer your love to others!"
From this thing I recognize that it's important for us to help the people in difficulties.

I am very grateful to you for your concern about the Beijing Olympic Games. There were 639 people taking part in 28 major events' competitions in the Chinese delegation, and they achieved 51 gold medals, 21 silver medals, and 28 copper medals, which is first time at the top of the gold medal standings of the history. That is the best result of the history which broke four world records in sports performances and realize spiritual double harvest. It has won the honor for the motherland and the people. I sincerely wish that the 30th Olympic Games in London will be the same brilliant. Let us have reunion in London in 2012.

In your last letter you asked me to tell you my plan for summer holiday. Here are what I am going to do during my summer holiday.
First of all, I will insist on taking exercise in order to build up our body, such as playing basketball. Secondly, besides do my homebook, I'll do some beneficial reading so as to broaden my horizons. Thirdly, in my spare I'll watch TV to relax myself. And I will go to watch the fireworks. It's very nice to watch.

4. An Unforgettable Holiday

　　I am 'always busy with my lessons. What I have to do everyday is nothing but study.
　　Luckily, last summer my family went to my uncle's farm.We enjoyed a really interesting holiday. During the holiday, I didn't have to get up early, nor did I need to finish many exercises. I rode the horse in the fields. I milked the cows on the farm. To my great joy, my uncle invited me to go fishing. Life on the farm is quite different from that at school. I want to go back to spend my summer holiday again.

5. My family is going on a trip around China during the school holidays. The first place to go is the Great Wall. It is the longest wall in the world. Then we are going to take a plane to Hangzhou. We are going to see the West Lake and drink we are going to drink "Longjing Tea". They will also visit Sanya. We plan to go to Xi'an and Harbin, too.
Harbin is in the north of China. It is in Heilongjiang Province. Beijing is the capital of China. There are many interesting places to visit. Hangzhou is in Zhejiang Province in the east of China. The famous place there is the West Lake. Xi'an is in Shaanxi Province. Sanya is in the south of China. It is in Hainan Province.

Hello,everyone.I am very excited to become a senior high school student this September.But I have to admit that I have some problems in the new school.For example,I don't think I can catch up with my classmates,especially maths.What's more,I am afraid that I can't make friends with others because I am not good at communicating.And does the food in the new school taste horrible or delicious?

Today is Sunday and it is a fine day.My friend and I took a trip to the zoo in our city.Early in the moring,we met at the school gate and started off at about 8:00am.We went by bus and got to the zoo at about 8:30.There were many people in the zoo,men and women,boys and girls were everywhere.We went to the monkey hills to watch the monkeys first.They were very cute,jumping here and there.Then we went to see the elepants.There were several elephants,and all are very big,lying on the ground.Later we saw some tigers that are very violent with a very big mouth.
We were glad to see so many animals though we were tired.

It was Sunday today and it was a fine day.My parents and I,together with Lulu,our pet cat, went to the park for fun.We set out at 8:00 in the morning,and got there at 8:30.We saw a lot of people there.Some of them watched the monkeys,some played games,some had a rest under the trees.The trees were green,the flowers were colorful ,the birds were singing in the trees.We were really glad to see this.We were walking along a path when suddenly a lovely bird flew up and stood on a branch of a tree just near us.Wow,wonderful! I was about to walk to it and caught it when suddenly Lulu let out a sound of"Meow".The bird got scared and flew away in a flash.
We felt terribly hungry and tired after a long walk.We went to a restaurant for a rest and lunch.We wanted several dishes,such as rice,chitcken and vegetables.We continued our trip after the big meal. At about five o'clock in the afternoon,we went home.
What a happy day!
4.A Happy Weekend
Last weekend my parents and I went to the park for relax.We set out at 8:00 in the morning,and got there at 8:30.We saw a lot of people there.Some of them watched the monkeys,some played games,some had a rest under the trees.The trees were green,the flowers were colorful ,the birds were singing in the trees.We were really glad to see this.
We felt terribly hungry and tired after a long walk.We went to a restaurant for a rest and lunch.We had a rich meal.

5.A Sad Day
I had a maths exam last week.It was not difficult.I worked out all the problems in time.Today the result of the exam came out.To my great surprise,I failed it.I had thought that I would pass it.I was quite sad.It turned out that I had made some mistakes in the exam thanks to my carelessness.What a sad day!
6.A Trip to the Ocean Park
My parents and I went to the ocean park last Sunday.We went by bus.We left home
at 8:00am and got there at 8:30am.There were a lot of people in the park,boys
and girls ,young and old are everywhere.We were very excited.We saw many
colorful and strange fishes.But what's most interesting was watching the dolphin
show.It was on at 3:00pm.The lovely dolphins jumped out of the water suddenly
and dived under the water again quickly.Then they swam close to the ball and
suddenly hit it with their noses.Soon they began to dance with music.
Wow!How amazing it was!It was a nice trip.
7.A Visit to the Zoo
It was Sunday yesterday and it was a fine day,Liu Dong and I visited the zoo.We went by bus.We got there at 8:30 in the morning.We saw different kinds of animals.The monkeys were very funny,jumping and running.The tigers were so strong,sitting on the ground.We were very glad to see the giant pandas and tall giraffes.They were really lovely.Animals are our good friends,we should get on well with them.
8.October 1st,National Day Fine
It's the 60th anniveray of our country this year,and it's October 1st National Day today.I got up very early,my parents and I watched TV at home after breakfast.Many activites were on for the National Day on TV.I liked the parade most.And in the evening,we watched the evevning party on TV.We were very happy and proud that our country are getting stronger and stronger.
9.A Happy Trip
Our school organized a three-day trip last week.The first day we went to the beach,it was a fine day,the sun was shining brightly,the wind was blowing softly,and we had a good time.The second day we went climbing.The wind was so strong that we felt tired.The third day we visited the museum.There were many people and it was very crowded.Hower we felt very happy.
It was a happy trip.
