be able to意为（因具有品质或技能）能做到…的;（因有足够的.自由、权力、时间、财力等而）可以…的，能够…的。
1、be able to是指通过努力而获得的能力，强调一种结果。
例句：She can sing the song in English.

He will be able to sing this song in English in a few minutes, too.
