给灾区小朋友的一封信
亲爱的灾区小朋友：
你们还好吗？
我是远方担心你们的一位姐姐。经过“5.12”地震，我很替你们担心。纵然房倒地破，你们的家人埋于土里，你们的家园顿时成了一片废墟，你们伤痕累累，流离失所。同是华夏儿女，你们的痛楚我在远方感受到了。看着荧光屏里你们哭泣着的脸，我百感交集，悲伤，同情，憎恨？伙伴们，别哭！拂去肩膀的灰尘，擦拭眼角的泪花，笑一笑，你们的亲人在天堂祝福你们勇敢地去面对生活，开心地活着，你们不能辜负了你们的亲人啊！
你们失去了亲人，但我们都将成为你们的亲人，同是龙的传人，同样有着中华人民共和国梅花般坚贞不屈的品格。祖国大地是你们的家，中华人民是你们的亲人，你们身旁是伟大的人民，你们背后有伟大祖国！我们永远爱你们！唐山7.6级大地震，那儿的孩子都熬过去了，凭什么你们就不行？站起来，我们一起与时间赛跑，我们把手臂举起来，举成万里长城；我们的心灵都连起来，连成铜墙铁壁。哭？有什么用？哭了你们死去了的亲人也不会起死回生，你们失去的家园也不会回来了。该面对的，我们绝对不会逃避；该执着的，我们绝不会放弃；该舍去的，我们绝对不会去留恋；该珍惜的，我们一定会好好把握。
天地无情，人间有爱。我为你们祝福，祈祷，我们一起度过六一儿童节，我们的心同在！

四川地震灾区的同胞们： 你们好！ 我们虽然不曾相识，却同为“龙的传人”。在这春暖花开的季节，本应该是其乐融融，而你们却遭受了如此大的灾难性大地震！我深表痛心． 但是，不管遇到了多大的困难，我希望你们都不要过度悲伤和气馁。因为地震带来的灾害只是一时的，你们只要顽强地坚持一段时间，灾难很快就会过去。当然，这次地震可能会给你们的心灵抹上一层阴影，让你们的心理多多少少受到了一点伤害。不过，你们应该化悲痛为力量，积极自救，早些重建家园。，我们所处的时代是多么美好的呀！如果让小小的地震破坏了你们的生活，你们的学业和工作，那将是多么的不幸啊。　　党在我们身边，解放军在我们身边，温总理在和我们一起救助乡邻，全国人民，全世界人民都在关注和帮助我们，相信我们会立即从痛苦中摆脱出来，和大家一起投入到抢救伤员和国家财产中来，尽快重建家园，战胜困难尽早恢复我们的美好生活。 祝 万事如意 一帆风顺 江南向你们致敬

The people of China have been very much in my thoughts over the past two weeks as I have watched, with mounting concern, the effects of the devastation caused by the terrible earthquake in Sichuan Province. It has been most impressive to see the marvellous way in which the Chinese humanitarian operations have brought swift and effective relief to those affected. I am particularly pleased that the Wenchuan Earthquake Orphan Fund has been established, to help the children who have lost their parents in the disaster.

I wanted to take this opportunity to send my deepest sympathy following this terrible tragedy to the people of China, and my most heartfelt condolences to all those who have lost loved ones.

My Prince's Charities are engaging ever more closely in China, including work to assist, in a small way, with the preservation of China's rich and diverse heritage. It would give me the greatest pleasure if we were able to develop these ties still further with, in particular, practical assistance from my Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment in planning the reconstruction of parts of Sichuan Province.

The moment we hear the news,our whole country is jolted and the effetcs spreading among our members,from home and abroad, are even more aggressive than this natural calamity.
Nature disaster is beyond the control of human beings,but when we see the unified help given internationally under our great Chinese leadership,we're all convinced that we will help my severely attacked members survive all the following predicaments.We're able to feel the empathy of your deep depression and hopeless emotions that may follow you for the next days,months,and years.But I hope my dear fellows will try to gain strength from inside you to relieve your compressed emotions to some extent,at least.For we hope to see the living people are happy when they continue their lives.Or for the sake of the dead people,we believe you will be spiritually relieved from this negative effetcs.At this times,you're the hero of yourselves.
My dear friends,you're unfortunate to lose your beloved persons.But please trust the government and the whole society,we're not outsiders,we will be forever standind in your need to overcome hardship,and I believe,with the help from all of us,life and work will be restored to normal conditions very soon.
Do not be scared,my friends,we will walk ahead hand in hand.
