One is 后面动词

你们其中之一 是不是 one of you ？如果是，那么后面的be动词用are还是is？~

is ，因为主语是单数。

第一句的is是one of the arguments的谓语,单数当然是对的.
第二句的are是the teachers的谓语,当然也不应该是is,那个that引导从句..

一般是+ing的 或者TO do 也行
