What is my favorite invention?
We knew there had been many inventions at the last century, for example, electric light bulb, telephone, phonograph, mimeograph machine, automobile, airplane, atomic weapon, computer and so on. What is my favorite invention?
Personally, my favorite invention should be computer. In the old days, many scientists took much time to calculate and deal with research data, so the effective time in doing research was relatively shortened. For millions of times of calculating per second by computer, the researchers may have enough time to study more important issues. The processing of experiment results became very simple and easy. Aren’t those all evidences that the computer is one of the greatest inventions in the last century, are those?
So my favorite invention is computer.

At the age of 6,my father brought a car,he took me to school on the first day of school.It was so exciting.I fell in love with this invention on that day.
The car can go anywhere and save time,but it also pullutes our environment.I holp I can invent "clean" cars.
I hope the cars will enter every family,and I love cars best.

The invention of the computer, apart from what anybody has told you, started around 2000 years ago.
The computer started out as an abacus. An abacus is a rack made of wood with two wires running parallel to each other. On the wires there are beads. By moving the beads anyone can solve simple math problems. Next, there was the Astrolabe, used for navigating.
The first digital computer was invented in 1642 by Blaise Pascal. It consisted of numbers entered in dials but, it could only add. However in 1671 a computer was invented that was eventually was built in 1694.
The man to credit for this invention is Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz. Unlike Pascal’s Leibniz’s could add and multiply. Leibniz also invented the stepped gear mechanism for the addend digit introduction, and to this day is still being used.

It helps us to do with all kinds of information and we get knowledge from it. It can give us a lot fun.
