the chair is very comfortable to sit in 这个地方为什么要用in而不用on~

其实in好On这两个介词都可以，教科书上对这个词也很纠结。如果熟悉英语语境习惯就容易多了。
in好on虽然都可以确实两种状态。
in，一般用于有扶手的椅子或沙发，on一般只是在板凳等东东上。这时就不能用in在板凳上了。
初一的教科书用的是on
the
sofa，口语中我们听到可以使sit
on或In
the
couch.
你习惯用哪个就用那个，但如果你考试，那就要完全遵循语法，只能用on了。

to lie in,要加介词。不及物动词当定语，要加相应的介词。
类似的：
a room to live in
a chair to sit on

是睡床还是在床上睡。

这是介词短语后置相当于sleep in the bed 其中，sleep是不及物动词in 不能省略
