英语冠词的用法This is(an) orange. 和 What colour is( the？

~ 第一个问题,搞清楚之前,有个前提概念,可数名词,要加冠词,不能单独出现
This is(an) orange,这orange 指的是橘子,可数名词,首次出现,因此用不定冠词an
What colour is( the) orange,第二次出现上文提到的橘子,因此叫特制,因此用定冠词the
it's___ orange,这个orange 是颜色,不是名词,是形容词,因此不能加冠词
你听说过,一个黄嘛?

第二个问题
虽说是at home 是固定搭配,但是,还是有道理可言的

我们拿这样几个例子来做类比

go to school
go to the school
in hospital
in the hospital
at table at the table

原理是,有了the 的,就是在那个地点,没有the 的,就是在那个地点引申出来的意思
go to school (上学）
go to the school (在学校里,也许是玩,但是肯定不是上学）
in hospital (在住院——
in the hospital ( 在医院里,也许是看病人之类,但是绝对不是在住院）
at table (在吃饭）
at the table (在桌边,可以是聊天,打麻将之类,但绝对不是吃饭）

然后看你的例子
at home (在家休息）
go to classroom (去教室干嘛的?去上课的）
go to the classroom ( 去教室这个地点,也许是拿遗忘的东西的,但绝对不是上课）

最后一个鸟为什么可以加the ,有的不加the
加了the ,表示特指,这只鸟
不加the,表示泛指,这种鸟,但,你再仔细看看,不加the 的时候,要用复数,10,一、冠词的基本概念
