My Hometown
My hometown is a small town in the countryside. I had not been to there since I left it in 1992 and thus was not sure about the population there. I only remembered that there was a river,some hills and fields. When I was a child,what I like the most was climbing the hill near to my house. Sometimes,my classmate will join in and when we arrived at the top of the hill, we would always hve a race,we will use our full strength because no one wanted to lose to each other. I also remembered that we had to cross a river in order to reach the school. We rarely use the bridge but instead, choosed to swim over. During the holidays, we would catch the small fish in the river.What a fun childhood I had!
I like my hometown more than the city I live in now.However,the people in my hometown are very poor.Children were forced to go to work in the cities once they comleted their education in the middle schools.This did not help but instead,made the town even more poorer than before.
If I had the chance, I hope that I can return to my hometown one day and contribute my efforts to make it a beautiful small town.
I think I’ll come back to my hometown to build it more and more beautiful after finishing university.
