The sport originated in the United States, and is now just achieving the type of popularity in the U.S. that it has received on a global basis, where it ranks behind only soccer among participation sports. Today there are more than 46 million Americans who play volleyball. There are 800 million players worldwide who play Volleyball at least once a week. In 1895, William G. Morgan, an instructor at the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) in Holyoke, Mass., decided to blend elements of basketball, baseball, tennis, and handball to create a game for his classes of businessmen which would demand less physical contact than basketball. He created the game of Volleyball (at that time called mintonette). Morgan borrowed the net from tennis, and raised it 6 feet 6 inches above the floor, just above the average man’s head. Although becoming a successful inventor can be tough, it is doable. As a would-be entrepreneur, you have an endless resource to tap: your mind. But the process is a bit more complicated than just coming up with ideas. You have to know how to turn those ideas into a working product and how to protect your intellectual property.

First, you study and become a student of logic.
Secondly, brainstorm your ideas.
Thirdly,you need to make sure your idea is original, and you need to know the market for your product.
Fourthly, decide if you will apply for a patent.
Fifthly, write a business plan.
Sixthly, market your invention.
Seventhly, realize you have a potential to make money.

I want to invent a water and air with three vehicles. Because I found the car can't go in the water can not fly very convenient. It should be made of a synthetic material is very light.
