You talk about how you want something different in your life — a new house, a better relationship with your spouse (or to find a spouse), get out of debt, or lose weight — but nothing changes. You find that you spend (waste) a lot of time talking about it, but not doing anything about it.
How do you balance your personal development?
There are two ways people will change, either by choice or by force. Neither one is very pretty.
Change by Force
‘By force’ means that you have no choice. For example, you lose your job so you have to find a new one. Your doctor gives you bad news about your health so now you have to lose weight…or else suffer the consequences. Your husband is having an affair; this forces you to divorce. There are times when you know you need to change and you think about it, but instead of being proactive like seeking new employment before your workplace lays you off or talking to financial planner before you go into foreclosure, you sabotage things. You wait until things get so bad you are forced into action. Force is not pretty because you cannot choose to move forward and create something new; you HAVE to or else suffer the consequences.
Change by Choice
The other option is to CHOOSE change. Choosing to change means that you have become willing to do whatever it takes to make a change in your life. You sacrifice your ‘comforts’ of the way things are in exchange for the hopes of something better. Choosing change is great in that it allows you to be proactive. Instead of waiting for the forces of fate to push you into moving and making a change, you take the actions needed to move forward. This isn’t pretty either because any way you look at it, change is hard. There are forces at work that are meant to keep you right where you are. For instance, fear is a big obstacle to change. So are habits.
Overwhelm is another big hurdle to change. You see all that needs to be accomplished in order to change and you become overwhelmed. This DE-motivates you, or, rather, motivates you to continue along your current path no matter how unhappy you may be.
Identify your pain; envision your pleasure. Start saying no to what feels bad and start thinking about and considering what feels good. That’s your work for now. Let me know how I can support your success and banlance your personal development.

Personal development training is an often spoken about topic in the home based network marketing industry but frequently this seems to not extend beyond finding ways to change one’s unconscious self limiting beliefs as they pertain to making money.
While dealing with self limiting beliefs is critical for success, it’s not the sum total of what personal development training is about.
Your personal development concerns the development of you as a whole person not just a part of you.
I believe we are designed to function in a way that satisfies homeostasis from the cellular level and beyond and when you don’t pursue this, you are in fact working against the natural ease you are meant to experience in your life.
Our natural state is meant to be one of balance and to achieve this we have to consciously attend to all the areas that make us who we are.
So personal development must encompass – the physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and social aspects of our lives. When we achieve a better balance between these, we function more optimally across all areas including business.
It’s so easy to become attached to one aspect of our development and then we close down the other areas without realizing. When we do this we actually prevent the optimal development of that area we are so keen to extend.
Just as you have a plan for your business so I want to encourage you to have a personal development plan too.
My view on Balanced Personal Development
It goes without saying that balanced personal development is of great importance to us nowadays.But what on earth is balanced personal development?Well,to my mind,it means that we should not only do a good job in our studies,but also in other aspects,such as virtue,social gathering,communication and the abilities to deal with all kinds of problems.As we know,virtue is also important to a person.We should cultivate good virtue.We should do more social gatherings,where we can make more friends who would offer great help in our careers in the future.Social gathering should be part of our daily life.
In addition,the abilities to deal with all kinds of problems are important too.The more abilities you have,the more easily you can be successful in your careers.
Let's talk about how to acquire the balanced personal development.Well,we should care for not only our IQ but also EQ and so on.What we learn from school is not enough,we should try to gain more skills and abilities outside our classes.
I'm an art major. All our courses are focusing on arts. I think that's no good for a balanced development.
But all the courses are settled. So, I think if we want to get a balanced personal development, we'd better have some supplementary readings on various topics, like global economy, environment problems and crucial political issues, or even entertaining periodical which tells us what's in season now or some interesting stories to get some humor.
I think this situation is not just for art students, those of other majors also have the same problem. And also, it's very important to get in touch with people from all works of life, so that we can learn something of different works. In that way, I could broaden our mind and that's also good for us to decide what our life career would be and how to avoid some obstacles.
