这句话可以这样改：
I bought a little present for you.=I bought a little present to please you.
又如：
I bought a dictionary for you.=I bought a dictionary to help you.
这里的for sb.其实是表示为了实现目个目的，因此也可以用不定式to do sth.来代替，众所周知，不定式可以用作动词词组表目的。

give's 不对，give 是动词没有所有格，应该是gives吧，第三人称单数
