另外except = but
还有except for 表示先肯定整体再否定局部。
He is a good guy except for his hot temper.
他这人还不错，除了他的急脾气。

我觉得应该是“besides”和“expect”的区别吧？
它们才有可比性
“besides”是除了……以外other sb./sth.也…（包含）
“expect”是除了……以外（……不包含）

beside是包括在内except是不包括在内懂？
