家乡的变化真快。以前，听妈妈说，那时候学校离家有十几里远，上学都是靠步行得走很长时间。有自行车骑车上学已经条件很不错了，不过，这样过去也对很长时间。要是到了下雨天，地上坑坑洼洼的，到了学校，水溅得衣服全是泥水，很脏。要是夏天，背个大书包去学校，衣服肯定全都湿了，还能拧出水来。而现在，家乡有了新的高科技——汽车，这样一来，即使再远的路，也丝毫不费脚力，也不用担心任何事情的发生。
家乡的变化真快。以前，穿的衣服总是破了补，补了再穿。而现在，每隔三差五的就买一套衣服。

我的家乡在龙岩永定，以前这里经济不发达，人们生活水平不高，住得是低矮的茅屋 、平房，楼房很少，街道坑坑洼洼，以前交通工具很少，只有三轮车、面包车，而且经常交通堵塞。人们的素质也不高，随地吐痰，乱扔垃圾，排放污水，使河水遭到严重的污染……
然而今天，由于党的改革开放政策深入民心，使如今的家乡永定发生了翻天覆地的变化：你瞧！那宽阔的道路，四通八达；摩天的高楼大厦，随处可见；各种各样的超市、商店，星罗棋布；雄伟的立交桥，飞架南北；洁净的街道和彩色的瓷砖，使人们心情舒畅地散步、闲谈；绿色如茵的绿化带中，散发出各种花的香味，沁人心脾，令人流连忘返。节假日，人们三五成群的到公园、去野外郊游，充分享受闲暇的快乐时光，新开业的苏果超市和商贸文化广场，每天都人山人海，人们逛商店，大量地购物；大大小小的饭馆，各具风味，吸引了八方来客，永定这个古老而又美丽的城市，正向着大都市发展……
最令人难忘的是永定的夜景了，你看，那五光十色的霓红灯，把大街小巷照得通亮；一排排的路灯，把公路照得如同白昼，远看就像一条条火龙，这样司机们开车就很安全；还有那各种颜色的激光灯，在夜空扫来扫去，使永定变成了“不夜城”。
啊！我爱我的家乡——龙岩永定！
