在英语口语中，关于“时间”的正确读法！
当读“日期”时要加the，“月份”和“年份”时则不需要。"月份"一般直接用英语读出；"日"则要读成"the + 序数词"；"年份"一般分为两个单位来读，前两个数为一个单位，后两个数为一个单位。
1、3 位数 读法
如果是三位数，先读第一位，再把后两个数合起来读。如：984年可读为nine eighty-four,757年读成seven fifty-seven。
2、“千”年的读法
像2000年一般读成two thousand, 2001年则读成two thousand and one，以此类推，2004年应读成two thousand and four。
3、第3个数字为"0"的读法
第三个数字为“零”（其他数字不是“零”）的年份的读法应当将该“零”读为O［u］。
例如： 1809年读作 eighteen O nine
4、其他年份的读法
还有一些非四位数的年份，它们有两种读法：一种是按照基数词的方法来读，另一种是一个一个数字来读。
例如：531BC 读作 five three one BC（或five hundred and thirty-one BC）

书写和朗读都不加the。
例：He was born in July.他出生在7月。

1、年份是三位数

12:45 应读为 a quater past twelve 。但是 8:30 只能说 half past eight 而不可以说half to nine.
不过，理论上是这样，实际上英美人习惯上使用a.m 或p.m 而不用24小时表达法。
13:00 thirteen o clock 或 thirteen
12:45 a quarter to thirteen 或 twelve fourty five
12:46 fourteen to thirteen 或 twelve fourty six
13:05 five past thirteen
