Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them. Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty. Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I am sure I will be better next time.
写作思路：选择自己的一场演讲，把自己的演讲准备过程写下来。
As to take part in the speech competition， I prepared much for a month.
以参加演讲比赛，我准备了一个月。
Firstly， I asked my English teacher about her advice to my topic.
首先，我问英语老师对她的建议我的话题。
Then， I searched the Internet for the material.
然后，我搜索互联网寻找资料。
Also， I asked for help to perfect my speech after I have finished it.
而且，我要求帮忙完善我的演讲之后，我已经把活做完了。
At last， I recited and practised my performance before my classmates again and again.
最后，我把我的演出之前，实行我的同学们一次又一次。
With the competition day coming.
一天来竞争。
I got more and more nervous.
我越来越紧张。
And my parents kept encouraging me.
和我的父母不断地鼓励我。
When i stepped on the stage.
当我走在舞台上。
I was frightened at first.
起初我很害怕。
Then I saw my parents and other helping people， and then I became confident.
然后我看到了我的父母和其他帮助别人，然后我变得自信。
Finally， I have got the champion.
最后，我已经得到了冠军。
上周，我参加了学校老师举行的一次英语演讲比赛。总共有十二位同学进入决赛，我是其中之一。轮到我的前十五分钟，我选好我的主题并做好准备。我写下大纲并组织好要说的内容。但是，当我站在评委和同学们面前的.时候，我就很紧张，头脑一片空白。于是我深呼吸使自己放松然后开始演讲。虽然结果不像我想象中的那么好，但是我宁愿把它当做一次对自己的挑战，过程对我来说才是最重要的。我能够从这次比赛中学到很多，我相信下次我一定能够做得更好的。
