一个男人去了一些富人的房子。当他行路的时候,他看见了一箱子好苹果在路的另一边。他说:“我不想吃那些苹果,因为有钱人会给我多的食物,他会给我好吃的食物吃。于是,他把苹果扔到地上了。
　　
　　他继续走着,来到一条河边。河水已变得非常大,所以他不能去克服它。他等了一段时间,然后他说:“我不能去富人的房子了,今天我不能过河。”
　　
　　他开始往家走。他什么东西也没有吃,那一天。他开始想要的食物。他来到了苹果,他很高兴,带他们出去的尘埃和吃它们。

农民，儿子与马的故事
从前有一个老农民，他有一匹马。那马差不多和他一样老。一天早晨，农民和他的儿子带着那匹老马一起出去，老农民想趁马还没老死把它卖了。农民带着儿子还有那匹马一起走，因为老人不想让马太劳累了。。。。。。。
在路上，他们遇到两个男人。那两个男人说：“老头，市场离这那么远！为什么走啊？你有马啊！！”老农民听着说的也对，便骑上马。但是他的儿子还要走啊。。。。。。。。。
接着他们又遇到两个老妇人，老妇人说：“看那个父亲在做什么啊？难道你看不到那个孩子有多累吗！？”所以农民又让他的儿子骑马，自己走路。。。。。。。。。。
后来三个老人阻止了他们，一个说道：“老头，为什么你走路？？这么热的天气你不应该这样啊！！快骑上马吧！！”老农民就又骑上那匹马，坐在儿子的后面。。。。。。。。。
一段时间以后，一个年轻的妇人路过问道：“为什么你们不走路呢？这离交易市场不远了。让你的老马好好休息吧。。”
所以农民和他的儿子又从马背上下来。。。。。。。。。
这个故事告诉我们一个真理那就是你不能同时在一个时间内请齐所有的人。。。。。。。。。

Victorian parents believed that they kept their dignity by retreating behind an unreasoning authoritarian attitude; in fact they did nothing of the kind, but children were then too cowed to let them know how they really felt. Today we tend to go to the other extreme, but on the whole this is a healthier attitude both for the child and the parent. It is always wiser and safer to face up to reality, however painful it may be at the moment.

青少年酷爱真诚，对于能够承认错误或无知、甚至承认自己做得不分平或不公正的父母，他们总是尊敬的，孩子们所不能原谅的是：父母错了，孩子们也看出来了，可是做父母的还不肯承认。

A small village was troubled by a man-eating lion. So its leaders sent a message to the great hunter, Jonesie, to come and kill the beast.
For several nights the hunter lay in wait for the lion, but it never appeared. Finally, he told the village chief to kill a cow and give him its hide. Draping the skin over his shoulders, he went to the pasture to wait for the lion.
In the middle of the night, the villagers woke to the sound of blood-curdling shrieks coming from the pasture. As they carefully approached, they saw the hunter on the ground, groaning in pain. There was no sign of the lion.
"What happened, Jonesie? Where is the lion?" asked the chief.
"Forget the damn lion!" he howled. "Which one of you idiots let the bull loose?"
