去年夏天，我和家里人去了北京。首先我们去了长城，因为它是我们中国的骄傲而且还是世界遗迹。接着我们去了颐和园，我们在那里看到很多美丽的风景。第二天我们去了天安门广场，吃了烤鸭。下午去了鸟巢和水立方。虽然很累，但是很开心。我学到了很多书本上没有的知识。所以我不会忘记这次有趣的旅行。

Furthermore, if you area careful observer, you can learn much during your travel about the geography, biology, and history of the places you visit. No matter how well educated you are, there is always a lot for you to learn through travelling. The knowledge acquired from travel, as you will have found in your life, is no less valuable than that from any influential reference book.
旅行也是最好的学习方法之一。你可能看过或者听说过某些事物的报道，但只有当你亲眼看到这些事物时你才能获得准确的信息。眼见为实。此外，如果你是一个细心的观察者，在你的旅行过程中你会学到许多有关当地的地理、生物和历史方面的知识。不管你接受过多好的教育，通过旅行总是可以让你学到更多。你会发现在旅行中获得的知识在你的生活中并不比来自任何一本有影响力的参考书上的价值小。
