[Comprehensive evaluation] excellent leader, has a high basketball IQ and calm temperament, perfect insight into the stadium. Wide field of vision, passing directly to the heart of the enemy, shot-level good, you can attack any district court. Disadvantages: defensive phase ~ ~ - When the fleeting, more mistakes.

[Attack] on the offensive end he is a perfect defender. As a member of 170 club, he has a good scorer, should have all the qualities: whether it is to drive the ball, the cast, one-third of the ball or a penalty. In addition to dunk, he can almost score in any way. Even more frightening is that, even though he scores, such as Tannangquwu, he has no need to rule the game with the score, and only when necessary, he would reveal sharp teeth, such as the Mavericks last year, when the 48 hours, such as this year Lakers 32 points. More often he appears in the organizational side, he and the center of the screens for almost all the team's nightmare. No one expected that he would be doing the next step is to pass, or their offense? Critical moment dare to come forward and give Yijizhiming.

[Defense] Nash was not perfect, God entrusted to him unbeatable in the offensive talent while also threw his poor defense. Nash then dozens of universities have been shut out on the ground is surprisingly consistent: Your defense is the worst I've seen everyone. As the physical is too suffer the tall point guard Steve Nash in the defense is almost helpless. In the playoffs, we can see that he was even repeated the Lakers S? Paker hard to eat. Although this season he has tried very hard to strengthen their defensive awareness, but little effect. Another man good news is that the rotation of the sun can be good to some extent make up for lack of personal defense.

[Pass] There is no doubt that the standard master pass. Is very good at passing like they must attack first, as long as there is a little bit possible, Nash has a master transmission in place. Almost familiar with a variety of pass means, including the difficulty of a very high hit the Earth. Do not pass too much perspective, he fully by virtue of a tacit agreement between themselves and their teammates to react. A very good sense of rhythm, catching those who would be very comfortable. Rhythm for a pitcher is very important, but Nash's pass you can almost invisible among those who lead the rhythm of the ball. In place - the ball - jump - shot, the entire movement wrapped extremely smooth. So, surrounded by a good PG is a very happy thing ------ Not everyone can appreciate the kind of fluid when the ball shot pleasure. That pass without mentioning the stunning fast-break that the other person, as a sponsor of fast break, Nash excellent sense of attack and defense conversion League second to none. When the opponent is also immersed in the joy of successful offensive, when the camera is still playing the last attack on the wonderful scene, the sun's fast-break combinations have been completed back against the counter-attack. Gorgeous long messenger all stunned and accurately judge the quick players running the next location, and then put in place an accurate pass. Does not require any adjustment of action, directly dunk or layup the ball. What is more, you can see the little S and Super Mario in the fast-break, when the first jump in the air waiting for Nash's pass, then that is a blood spray Zhang's dunk. Gorgeous to the dregs of the tie.

[Warm and jade, Qianqianjunzi] Nash is an excellent leader, despite his lack of some despot, but he led the team in their own ways. . This is a responsible man, a strong momentum in the face of opponents, I can even feel the anger in his efforts to make their own ----- In order to motivate the team morale. There is in such leaders is that all fans of the well-being of the sun. In the locker room, he is always calm and that the most moderate person. In him you'll never feel oppressively superstar. He smiled and faced questions from reporters, as appropriate, their words carefully, never sick and tired. Being courteous to everyone around, familiar or unfamiliar. Opponent could win respect for man.

In 1996, Nash participated in NBA draft, but NBA scouts were not generally optimistic about Steve Nash, because of his poor physical fitness, so Nash is only the first selected 15th overall by the sun. Phoenix Suns
In the summer of 2004, free agency brought Canadian Steve Nash back to the franchise that originally drafted him eight years earlier. After a successful career at Santa Clara University, Nash was a first-round draft pick of the Phoenix Suns in 1996. He subsequently found his basketball home in Dallas with co-horts Dirk Nowitzki and Michael Finely to form another Dallas "Big Three." Plays a classic point guard and is known to drive to the basket with reckless abandon where he can make the layup or deftly pass to a teammate for an easier basket. Has developed a consistent outside shot which makes him even harder to defend.

195 lbs.

Guard

Johannesburg, South Africa

Febuary 7, 1974

Santa Clara '96
