~ Spring Festival
My best festival is Spring Festival. It is in Janurary or February. It is the most important festival for the Chinese people. On that day everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper.
People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure. Burning fireworks was once the most typical custom on the Spring Festival. I like spring festival very much. It's my favourite holiday.

我最喜爱的节日是春节，它在一月或者二月。对于中国人来说这是最重要的节日。在那天，每个人都认真打扮，他们会像父母问好，然后每个孩子会得到红包作为新年礼物。
北方人喜欢早上吃饺子或者汤圆。饺子的形状像中国的元宝，他们吃饺子来期盼财源广进。燃放烟花也曾一度是春节的传统习俗。我非常喜欢春节，它是我最喜欢的节日。

Spring Festival is Chinese traditional Festival day,I like it very much .why ? Because I can spend many happy days with my families and friends during these days.Of cause,there are so many different kinds of delicious foods in general and we'd like to visit some relators,such as grandparents,Aunt,Aucle,and so on.Whats more,it's good at for our relationship with others.As we all know,these special days show us Chinese taditonal cultral so that we'll never forget our cherish cultral with time go on.

During the festival，kids get lucky money from old people. People visit their relatives and friends. They wish each a happy year and good luck. How happy we are.

As we know,the celebration of Spring Festival may commonly last for 7 days,which is higlighted as one of the symbols of traditional chinese culture.It's usually a time between late January or early February.Not only in china but in some other Asian countries like Singapore,Indonesia and Korea people also celebrate Spring Festival.According to the usual,on the eve of the Spring Festival,a get together banquet is a must,and the most popular food is Dumpling,which is supposed to bring good fortune.People tend to get up early the frist day and visit neibours and relatives. However ,nowadays this part is being replaced by short message greetings.
