1.进入EI Village网站
2.选择“Compendex”数据库

  Abstract: Iris registration aims at processing many iris images which collected from the same person, these images are different in pupil size, texture and so on. The study in this research field is very valuable. In this paper we have proposed that apply curve fitting technology in iris registration. First, the Harris corner detection has been employed to check the feature of iris images, followed we have combined the Local jet and LBP approach to obtain some potential matching points between iris images, then according to the ratio of the Euclidean-distance from the matched points to the center of each pupil we have drawn the plot. Finally we have done the curve fitting, using the curves to estimate transform model and acquired the iris registration images. The experimental results have shown that our method is more accurate and more close to source image than traditional method which found in current literature. © 2008 IEEE.

  Abstract: Image mosaic is the technology that a large, seamless and high-resolution image, which providing more information than one image can, is made from a set of images. We can not obtain all information from just one image in some forensic examinations such as the cartridge image check, since the surface of the firing pin is with different depth. It is difficult to obtain the clear image entirely (clear firing pin and clear breech face) of the cartridge using microscopy with a fixed focal length. In this paper, we apply image mosaic technology to obtain the whole clear cartridge bottom image. Experiments show the capability of our mosaic approach. Finally we also present evaluation to demonstrate the performance of our method in both objective and visual evaluations. © 2008 IEEE.

  Abstract: For most image fusion algorithms split relationship among pixels and treat them more or less independently, this paper proposes a region based multi-focus image fusion scheme using quality assessment of spatial domain and genetic algorithm, which combines aspects of feature and pixel-level fusion. The basic idea is to divide the source images into blocks, and then select the corresponding blocks with higher quality assessment value to construct the resultant fused image. GA is brought forward to determine the suitable sizes of the block. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme outperforms Haar wavelet approach and morphological wavelet approach, both in visual effect and objective evaluation criteria, which is more robust under mis-registration situation. ©2008 IEEE.
