Xiao Ming lives in Beijing.It's about 5 kilometers from his home to school.He usually goes to school by bike.The bike ride takes about 40 minutes.And there is a bus stop near his home.So when the weather is bad,he takes the bus to school.The bus ride takes about 20 minutes.

Before i was seven, i spent my childhood in grandfather's house. The summer there was the most beautiful summer i have ever seen. I remembered the whole backyard was planted by the flowers that i didint know the name. You could hear the bees buzzing outside the house every morning. They flew around the flowers like the dancing faries. Fruit trees were also planted in the backyard such as apple trees, pear trees and grape trees. Grandfather make a swing under the apple trees and i could spend a whole day playing with it. There was a river inside the village. People wash their clothes in the river while chatting with their friends. Whenever the river 's elevation went down, there would be plenty of fish and prawns and i would catch them with my friends even though adults warned us to stay away from the river. I left the village after seven and i never went back there again. The village has lived inside of my memory and I wish i could go back to see the village and it's unforgettable landscape.
