My hometown is a very beautiful city.The air there is very clear,and it's like(像)a big village,very quiet,peaceful and convinient(方便）.The birds sing everytime,the trees wave to you,the flowers smile to you.And there is a lake around my hometown.The people here is very helpful and friendly.If you come to my hometown,you will enjoy yourself.
我发现了蜗牛的秘密
一天下午，天气非常闷热，我在阳台上摆弄着爸爸的“心肝宝贝”——兰花，突然便看见一只小蜗牛爬上一片叶子。“蜗牛到底是益虫还是害虫？”“为什么爬行的时候会留下一条长长的线？”“蜗牛的鼻子眼睛在哪儿？”这一连串的问题出现在我的脑海中。
于是我决定自己去做一做实验，弄清楚这几个问题。
“蜗牛是益虫还是害虫？”我先把白菜、馒头、蚊子等分别放在抓来的几只蜗牛面前，他们大概都饿了，爬向自己喜爱的食物上去，只见蜗牛都选上了白菜叶子，吃了起来，对别的食品闻也不闻，不一顿饭的工夫，蜗牛把白菜叶子吃光了，这下可以判定：蜗牛是害虫。
“为什么爬行的时候会留下一条长长的线？”这个问题我先用一片叶子把蜗牛的引出来，然后用手轻轻地往头部下面一摸，没想到头立刻缩回去了，这可怎么办？我有点儿灰心了，这时爸爸向我走来，对我说：“怎么，这么一点小事就灰心啦！亏你长大还想当科学家呢？”我被爸爸这么一“激”又来劲了。一个办法从脑海中闪过。“有了，有了！”我手舞足稻地叫起来。我用一块小石头，轻轻地把蜗牛的壳砸碎，取出蜗牛的身子，用手一摸发现了一个颗立状的东西，通过翻书、查阅字典，我知道了那是蜗牛的脚，那一条长长的细线是蜗牛的分泌物，它有助于蜗牛蜗牛爬行。
“蜗牛的眼睛、鼻子在哪儿？”我按照前一部方法，把一片白菜叶子放在地上又抓来一只蜗牛，这只蜗牛好像知道我的苦心，乖乖地让我看见了它的眼睛、鼻子、蜗牛的大触手和小触手，大触手是眼睛，小触手是鼻子。
通过这一连串实验，真是受益不小！我不但发现了蜗牛的秘密，还明白了一个道理：长大要想有所发明，必须从小发现问题，并学着解决问题。
