hand in的短语和用法~

at hand、on hand、in hand
这三个词组都含“在手头”、“在手边”的意思，用法区别甚微，只是侧重不同而已。
at hand 有二个基本用法：① “在手边”、“在附近”；②“即将到
来”。常用 close、near、 ready 前置修饰之。
●“在手边”、“在附近”，侧重强调就在手边、近处，随时可用之，含 have
something easy to reach，which can be used if needed 的意思。在句中可
作状语、补语或后置定语。
1）Whenever I want to write something, I always have a dictionary (close)
at hand.
每当我想写点什么，我总在手边放一本字典。
2）When he goes out on business, he likes to have his secretary (ready) at
hand.
他出去谈业务时，总喜欢他的秘书在身边。
3）I want you to be at hand during my interview with the journalists.

●“即将来临”、“在眼前”，在句中一般用作连系动词 be 的表语。

In 表示地点的用法：
1、指较大的地方。 
如：He lives in Shanghai。 他住在上海。
2、说话人身在其中，也可以用in 表示较小的地方。
如：  I＇m  now working in the post-office. 我现在在邮局工作。
On表示地点：
1、在„„上，一般指与面或线接触。
如：The picture was hanging on the wall. 画挂在墙上。
He put the book on the table and sat on the chair.他把书放在桌子上，人坐在椅子上。  
2、在„„旁边。
如：He lives in a house on the river.他住在河边的房子里。
3、在„„(里)。如：  
He lives on Fifth Avenue。 他住在第五大街。
I am a football member on the school team.我是学校足球队的一名成员。

1、in把地方、地点、位置当作一个范围或一个封闭的空间：

2、on 把地方、地点、位置当作一个平面：
表示地点时，指“在„„之上(与表面接触)”，“靠近、接壤”及“在左右边”都用on. 表示位置时表示区域的边界附近，可以是属于这个区域的一部分或相互接壤。
