春节是我国一个古老的节日，也是全年最重要的一个节日，如何过庆贺这个节日，在千百年的历史发展中，形成了一些较为固定的风俗习惯，有许多还相传至今。

Most celebrating the festival stay up till midnight， when fireworks are lit， to drive away evil spirits. New Years day is often spent visiting neighbours， family and friends.The public holiday for New Year lasts 3 days in China， but the festival traditionally lasts till the 15th day of the lunar month and ends with the ‘Lantern Festival’。 Here， houses are decorated with colourful lanterns， and yuanxioa， a sweet or savoury fried or boiled dumpling made of glutinous rice flour is eaten.

　　The difference between Spring Festival and Christmas is so obviousthat we can find easily. First the background is different. One is the easternfestival, and the other is western festival. Then the people celebrate them indifferent ways, such as China does not have Stanta Claus, and America does nothave any couplets. At last, east and west eat different food to celebrate thefestival. But the two festivals also have some similarities. The two differentfestivals are celebrate in winter. They are the biggest festivals in the eastand west.
Most Families in my class celebrate Spring Festival or Christmastogether, and so on. However, I love spring festivals most because My family havea good time during the festivals. In addition, we can eat delicious food and staytogether with family members who we do not see for a long time. Then we have agood time.
