“必修课选逃，选修课必逃”，如今，这句话已经成为高校学子挂在嘴边的口头禅。逃课，似乎成了大学生活的一部分。
学生称“逃课正常”
“大一刚来时还算听话，不敢逃课。后来胆子大了，逃课越来越多。”中南民族大学大四的罗同学告诉记者。新闻专业大二学生小陈告诉记者，由于外出旅游，他已经有两个星期没去上课了。“你怎么看待逃课现象？”记者随机采访了该校十名大一至大四年级的学生，学生不约而同地惊讶道：“逃课很正常呀！”
高校流传一段经典对白：一天中午，宿舍里四名学生躺在床上讨论是否去上课。“你去上课吗？”“我不想去，你呢？”“我也是。”“那就不去了！”于是四个人继续睡觉。
久而久之，逃课成了集体行为，成为一种风气。
课堂乏味 难吸引学生
《近代史纲要》、《军事理论》……公共课的上座率比专业课低多了。“纯理论知识很枯燥无味，又不实用，我一上课就犯困。"一名学生小丁坦言，公共课大多是大班教学，老师极少点名，被抓现行的几率很小。
除了课程本身乏味，老师课堂魅力的缺乏也成了大学生们逃课的理由。大三学生小鲁说，自己逃过《近代史纲要》课，因为老师上课使用的方言，对学生缺乏吸引力。相反，《思想道德与法律基础》这门公共课极受学生欢迎，因为该老师善将理论和实际结合，且注重和学生互动。
逃课为社会实践
如今就业压力大，为积累实践经验，兼职、实习成为了许多大学生的“必修课”，如果与上课发生冲突，大多数学生会选择逃课，因为在他们看来，课本上的知识可以补回来，但实习机会不是经常有的。
“逃课热”引发教师反思
自己辛辛苦苦备课，学生却不买账，尴尬之余，高校教师对“逃课热”这一现象也进行了反思。
江汉大学彭松乔老师教《民间文学》，这是一门选修课，比起专业课和必修课来，彭老师对到课率的要求宽松得多，是否听课全凭学生自愿。“事实上，没有一个老师喜欢总是逃课的学生，但应该理解、尊重学生，”彭老师说。
教《古典文献学》的盛莉老师表示，自己对学生逃课表示理解，但不赞同。虽说没有不逃课的大学生，但学生还是应该珍惜难得的学习机会，毕竟机不可失，失不再来。
学生工作者：宜堵更宜疏
为防止大学生逃课，高校常用的方法是点名，统计学生到课情况并与其综合测评、评优评先等奖惩挂钩。中南民族大学文学与新闻传播学院甚至规定：一学期内无故缺课累计超过该门课程教学时数1/3者，不得参加该课程的考试，成绩以零分计。
一位在校大学生告诉记者，为了应付学校点名，有学生代为签到、很多同学第一节课上完就开溜。
从事学生工作多年的沈群香老师认为，学生逃课，原因是多方面的。既有现行的教学管理模式与体制存在一定的不足、学分与学时制混乱的问题，也与老师的教学方式陈旧古板、教学内容枯燥有关系。另外，学生的厌学情绪、惰性和跟风心理也是重要原因。
沈群香称，改善逃课现象是一个长期的慢慢疏导的过程，学校应该就多种原因，综合应对逃课现象，不能一味强制学生，否则会引起学生反感。管理、教育应该建立在尊重学生的基础上。
Attendance in University
Nowadays it is really a normal phenomenon in university to be late, leave earlier or miss school. There are few students can present some of the class. It is really a contrast with the education before.
It is really important to make sure the attendance of the students in university for the students’ education. If the students can’t be present on time for the class and the education and the knowledge the students should get can’t be assured, or by inference, the education for a country cannot be guaranteed either.
And students should attend class on time. Some measures should be taken to improve this situation such as the attendance record for each class and some reward and punishment for students.
