neither of 和either of有什么不同
either of(两者其一)，neither of(两者都不)这两个后＋单数；neither of，若of后接为不可数名词，动词用单数形式，若of后接为复数名词或代词时，动词可以是单数，也可以是复数。在正式文体中，单数形式的动词更常用。

either of是指“两者有其一......”

neither of 后跟单数还是复数
neither 作为代词，意为“两者都不”，常用作单数，但口语中也有当作复数的情形，所以neither of+名词复数作主语时，谓语动词用单、复数都可以，不过现在多习惯用单数。
1、of后接为复数名词或代词时，动词是单数。
Neither of the boys is from England.
这两个男孩都不是来自英国。
2、of后接为复数名词或代词时，动词是复数。
Neither of them were prepared to go into the detail of their talks.
他们俩都没准备要详细说明他们会谈的情况。
neither of结构，从语法标记看，是单数形式；而从词汇意义的角度看，亦可理解为单数概念，所以根据“语法一致原则”和“概念一致原则”，谓语动词采用单数形式，是天经地义的。
neither of结构（尤其当介词of后接复数词语作补语时），从词汇意义的角度来看，亦可理解为复数概念，所以根据“概念一致原则”和“就近原则”，谓语动词采用复数形式，亦无可非议。

neither of的用法

2、当neither是限定词或代词时，其意为“两者都不”。当其修饰名词时，名词使用单数。当neither是代词时，其后通常接of，构成neither of这个短语。
例句1：Neither of my parents enjoys music.我父母都不喜欢音乐。
例句2：Neither of my sisters drinks coffee.我的两个姐妹都不喝咖啡。
either of 的用法
1、either of表示“两者之一”，其后谓语动词用单数。作代词时，后面与of连用，后接名词复数。作主语时，谓语动词用单数。
