spend的三种用法，来看看吧
1、spend on：主要用法是 spend time/money on something。意为“在某事上花费时间/金钱”。
I spent three hours on this math problem.
这道数学题花了我三个小时的时间。
2、spend in doing: 主要用法是spend time/money in doing something. 意为“花费时间/金钱做某事”。这里的in 可以省略。
They spent three years (in) building the bridge.
造这座桥花了他们三年的时间。
cost，expend，spend，take区别
1、cost指花费时间、金钱、劳力等。其主语是物，而不能由人充当，也不用被动形式。
2、expend较正式用词，通常指为某一专门目的而花费大量金钱、时间或精力。
3、spend普通用词，与cost基本同义，但主语必须是人。
4、take普通用词，指需要占用空间、时间或精力等，其主语可以是人，也可以是一件事情。
spend some time/some money (in) doing 其中 in可以省去。
或者 spend some time/some money on sth.
注意如果是第二种情况，后面的sth. 有自己的短语时，用该词自己的介词而不用on
