本人曾被世界文艺家联合会、世界华人美术学会、英国皇家艺术研究院、中国文化学会、香港国际拍卖有限公司等单位授予联合国中华文化传播大使、世界文化名人、中英艺术交流形象大使、2014最具市场升值潜力十大书法家、文化界国家形象大使、感动中国艺术人物、感动中国文化人物、非物质文化遗产传承人物荣誉称号。2014年4月荣获中国兰亭、工艺、美术终身成就奖。2015年获中华文化突出贡献奖特别金奖。2017年5月，本人上善若水、长寿乐百等6幅作品，被中国集邮中心用于出版圆梦中国共铸辉煌限量珍藏邮册。2017年7月被香港特别行政区书画院中国书画黄页网授予中国文化艺术类最高奖金鸡奖终身成就奖、同月受香港聚美文化交流艺术协会、新华网络美术馆特邀参与庆祝香港回归作品创作大赛获特邀奖。

刘大为现任中国美术家协会主席，山东诸城人，1945年出生。1968年毕业于内蒙师大美术系，1980年毕业于中央美术学院中国画研究生班，受教于叶浅予、蒋兆和、李可染、吴作人、黄胄等中国著名画家，基本功扎实，并刻意求新，工、写皆精。作品严谨深刻并富有浓烈的生活气息，作品以反映北方少数民族生活风情以及重大历史题材著称于世。是中国当前艺术成就突出，影响较大的国画家。作品曾多次入选国内外重要展览并发表。有作品获《光明日报》美术奖一等奖，全国第一届教师美术作品展览一等奖，全国第二届连环画展二等奖，全国第六届美术作品展览优秀奖，全国第七届全国美展铜奖。有多幅作品被中国美术馆，中国画研究院等单位收藏。
Liu dawei, President of the China artists association, was born in 1945. In 1968 graduated from the fine arts department of Inner Mongolia normal university in 1968, graduated from the central academy of fine arts graduate student class of Chinese painting, educated in Ye Jianyu, Jiang Zhaohe, Li Keran, wu zuoren, Huang Zhou famous Chinese painter, solid basic skills, and innovation and deliberately, writing is fine.
