“动词 sth to sb”用这个形式的动词有?
有些是由动词本身的词性决定的，比如方向性的，pass sth to sb，把什么东西递给某人，bring sth
to sb把什么带给某人，有些是固定搭配，比如turn to sb，向某人求助
昨天（12月22日）本人回答了楼主的提问，且位列第一：
今天发现语句太少，无法引起注意，只好修改一番。
答案是：绝对没有buy sth. to sb. 【提问很简单，回答也简洁明了。】
但是，如果要把知识点延伸，那么就比较复杂了。
“动词+间宾+直宾”的间宾后置现象：
（1） verb + sth. + to + sb.（当间宾很长，或直宾是代词时，间宾就会后置）例子：
The company offer $100 to any reader who could relate what Mr. Hawking said.
I have finished the book and I will give it to you.
常见的这类动词有：
give, pay, show, send, bring, take, mail,offer, read, pass, lend, leave, hand, tell, return, write, throw, allow, wish,teach, promise, owe, award， accord, grant
（2）verb + sth. +for + sb.
常见的这类动词有：
buy, do, get, paint，sing, find，build，change，choose, prepare，pick，make, fetch，draw, play, save， reserve, spare，order, cook
【区别】
to表示方向，常译作“给”或“到”；for表示对某人有益的事，常译作“为”或“帮”。
例如：
Kate wrote a letter to her mother. （凯特给她妈妈写了封信。）
Kate wrote a letter for her mother.（凯特帮她妈妈写了封信。）

实际上，这是一个伪命题，根本没有buy sth. to sb.之说。
本人通过各大搜索引擎，都查不到buy sth. to sb.，唯独百度上有这种“问题”。
各种权威词典（纸质的、电子的、在线的）都没有buy something to somebody。
