1、简单句的概念和句型
简单句就是只包含一个主谓结构的句子。简单句中句子各成分都是只由单词或短语构成的。
在简单句中主谓结构是句子的主干，是句子的核心。
简单句可归纳为五个基本句型。表达简单句使用哪个基本句型，取决于该句子中的谓语动词。
例句：
The sun rises.（主语+不及物动词）
太阳升起来。
I don't like basketball.（主语+及物动词+宾语）
我不喜欢篮球。
Danny is tired.（主语+系动词+表语）
丹妮累了。
I read her a story.（主语+动词+间接宾语+直接宾语）

I helped her brush her teeth.（主语+动词+宾语+宾补）

2、复合句概念和句型
复合句分为并列复合句compound sentence(也称并列句)和主从或从属复合句complex sentence(也称复杂句)。
（1）并列复合句compound sentence是有并列连词:and、or、but连接；
例句：
I like singing , but she likes dancing
我爱唱歌，但是她爱跳舞。
Give me your wallet or I will kill you.
把你的钱包给我，不然我会杀了你。
（2）从属复合句complex sentence由一个主句(Principal Clause)和一个或一个以上的从句(Subordinate Clause)构成。用疑问词作引导词，主句是全句的主体，通常可以独立存在;从句则是一个句子成分，不能独立存在。从句不能单独成句，但它也有主语部分和谓语部分，就像一个句子一样。所不同在于，从句须由一个关联词(conjunction)引导。 根据引导从句功能不同，大致可分为:主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句、定语从句、状语从句等。
例句：
He is the man who I saw in the park yesterday.
他是昨天我在公园见到的那个人。
Where I live there are plenty of trees.
我居住的地方有很多树。
Always do to the others as you would be done by.
你希望人家怎样待你，你就要怎样待人。
