Last sunday, my parents and I went to Beijing tour.The weather was particularly sunny,In the morning, we take a bus to the Badaling. Imposing Great Wall stretches for thousands of miles, and then boarded the go, feel the ancient wisdom and hard work.1:30 pm, we had lunch, and then went to the supermarket.In the evening, happily embark on return journey.I will also plan Guangxi Guilin, Xi'an and other places, enjoy the beauty of the country.
The one of the most impressive places I have visited is the Great Wall in Beijing, the capital of China. It was built 2000 years ago by Qing dynasty aiming to prevent the invasion from the enemy of north of China. But during the long Chinese history, many dynasties tried to enhance or repair the Great Wall and therefore nowadays what we are seeing is majorly built by Ming dynasty.
The Great Wall built along the historic east to west border and it was so long that it was very hard to see all of it. What I saw is only the part of it located in the Beijing; at the same time, it is the most favorite part for the visitors from all over the world. The Great wall stretches itself among the mountains and then slowly disappears from your sight. The scenery around the Great Wall is beautiful as well. When I walked on it, it hard to imagine that how the ancient people can build this fabulous building without help of modern construction machines.
However, I also noted that some part of it have been broken due to the erosion from sandstorm, wind and other bed weather conditions. It is possible that the miracle made by human being will disappear some day in the future. Therefore, I really hope the people and the government can take some effective measurements to protect it so that the more people have an opportunity to see it.
Guangzhou Zoo is the largest one in our city. The ticket for an adult is 80 yuan . The children over 1.2 m in height can pay only half of it, and the ones under 1.2 m can enter the zoo for free. The zoo opens from 9:00 am to 4:00pm on weekdays and from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm on weekends.
By the way, while visiting the zoo, you'd better not feed the animals with the food you take. And don't get too close to or even touch the animals. That would be very dangerous. Please keep the zoo clean as well.
