今天没有作业
快放学了，老师在黑板上写了六个醒目的大字：今天没有作业。教室里立刻炸开了锅，同学们有的乐不可支，有的喜上眉梢，有的同学甚至还跳了起来，还喊着：“老师万岁！老师万岁！”
我立刻收拾好书包，像箭一样地冲出校门，在回家的路上，我觉得天格外得蓝，花格外得红，草格外得绿，风格外得柔和。世界如此美好，我的心情“Happy”到了极点。
回到家中，我把书包一扔，迫不及待地打开电视，拿起了遥控器换到我最喜爱的少儿频道，此时电视正在播放我最爱看的动画片。我往沙发一坐，翘起二郎腿，嗑着瓜子，心里美滋滋的。就在这时，一个高大的身影挡住了我的视线，爸爸“啪“地一下把电视闭了，吼着：“赶紧给我写作业去！”我小声嘀咕着：“老师本来就没有留作业呀。”“那也不行，你不会自己找点习题去做，你现在就去做！”爸爸生气地说。我的心情马上从天堂降到了地狱，我坐在桌子前看着堆着像小山一样的练习册，再看卷纸上那些密密麻麻的小字，我的心拔凉拔凉的，我望着窗外在自由飞翔的小鸟，我多想变成一只小鸟在蓝蓝的天空中自由飞翔……
爸爸，我理解你望子成龙的想法，可是我也需要一点点的自由空间啊！
Why students learn English?
The students in China start to learn English when they are in primary school. Some people may ask why we need to learn English, what we do that for? Well, in my humble opinion, I think we need English for various reasons.
First of all, English is indispensable if we want to enter the university. English teaching in some schools are quite important. Some teachers even use English instead of Chinese to teach their students. Secondly, most of students will need English to read English books or novels. While a few of them will go abroad to study, then English will become a tool to communicate with foreigners. Last but not least, as this world gets smaller, English has become more useful than ever. There are a lot of songs singing in English, if we know how to speak English, we can know about the the lyrics all about. What’s more, sometimes we need to say English to communicate with others. Through English, we know about what happen all around the world.
To sum up, learning English is very useful as well as important in our life.
It's a great day for me to have a day without any homework, so I can read my favourite novel after school, which I barely have time to read since the new term began. 对于我来说，没有作业的一天好极了，我终于在放学后有时间读我最爱的小说了，在新学期开学后我几乎没有时间读这部小说。
I can also watch Tv for a while, I miss my cartoon much.我也可以看一会电视，我想念极了我的动画片。
The most important thing is that , I can relax myself .I have been so busy with my study recently,which makes me so tired.最重要的事是，我可以放松自己。最近我一直在学习，觉得很累。
I hope there would be more days without homework，so I can enjoy my childhood.我希望能有更多没有作业的时间,让我可以享受我的童年。

There's no homework today
I can't believe that after all these years in secondary school, there's no homework today. It's incredible. Usually, with the university entrance exam approaching, the teachers are constantly reminding us to do homework and review. I'm sure there are loads of homework in the upcoming future but I wish to enjoy this short yet sweet moment.
For today, I think I'm going to go to the swimming pool first. After all, I haven't exorcised in the longest time because of all that homework. I'm going to exercise for at least two hours after school.
Then, I'm going out for pizza. I'm not particularly rich, but I think a homework-less day calls for celebration. What's better for celebration than pizza?
Finally, some food for my hungry mind. If I relax completely, I will probably have a hard time catching up on the school work. In order to have a better future, I need to work hard for my own sake.
With that all planned out, I plan to have a fabulous and gratifying day today.
