stop doing和stop to do有何区别

~ stop sb doing与stop sb from doing sth 是同义词， 都是“阻止某人做某事“的意思。
在主动语句中：from可省略，但在被动语句中 from 不可省略。
如
1.We should stop people (from ) cutting down trees .（from 可省略）
2.People should be stopped by us from cutting down trees .(from不可省略）
我们应该阻止人们树。
3..She stopped the boy( from) climbing the tree,( from 可省略）
= The boy was stopped from climbing the tree .(from 不可以省）
她阻止那个男孩爬树。
类似的用法还有：
